Okay, so I looked that stuff up because I’m not a Starbucks customer and didn’t even know what you meant by “stars.” Apparently you “earn” two stars per each dollar spent. So 150 stars is equivalent to $75 spent. I know there are bonus stars you can get from various promotions, but tracking that stuff is a lot of work

I have always thought this was incredibly obvious, but based on how many gift cards people still buy this article is clearly necessary.

Yeah, I don’t pick TV’s based on the smart features, either. Some of them have come a long way, but I really wish Roku was partnering with some high-end brands. Roku’s got the best interface by leagues, but they’re only baked into budget sets.

No LG webOS support? I get the exclusion of Samsung’s Smart TV platform; it sucks. WebOS is good stuff though, and supposedly easy to develop for.

By replying, you probably un-grayed him yourself.

Awesome. I might just be getting old and curmudgeonly, but it sure seems like people have become much more brazen in their assholery. Like, they almost revel in it. Politics aside, I’ve noted a correlation between this trend and bumper stickers ending in “rump.”

Yeah, I mean, I know that’s right. But it doesn’t really relieve the anger in the same way. I actually did call the trucking company after I got to work, got passed around to a few different departments, and then was told “they’d look into it.” Doesn’t really instill confidence or grant any real satisfaction.

How about when I’m in a pissed off mood and desperately want to get out of my car and punch a hole through the hood of the asshole that slammed on his brakes without a turn signal because he suddenly decided to turn into the Dollar General?

Do you know of a site that proofs your professionally published articles to you don’t have to read them?

Or, if you weren’t a smartass, you’d realize that detail is included in an update that wasn’t yet published when I posted my comment.

So, I wonder if VideoLAN has inspected the checksums on all of their approved mirrors. The inconsistent results across outlets certainly seems to suggest that someone has intentionally injected this vulnerability into a copy that is getting relatively wide distribution.

Oh, interesting. If they had said as much in the article, it would actually add merit to the rest of the article.

That is a good question.

I don’t understand the point of this article. Is there any (legal) way to watch Season 4 other than via Hulu? If you have to have a Hulu subscription to watch Season 4, and this article is about ways to stream the movie in preparation for watching Season 4, and the movie is available to stream on Hulu, why would

What will the “blue lives matter” lot do with this story?

Well, I haven’t had the student Prime plan for four years, since I’m currently paying full price. Surely they don’t penalize people for going back to school when they’re older based on how many years they’ve cumulatively been a student in their lifetimes...

Anyone know how to convert a regular Prime account to Prime Student, or if that’s even possible. I can’t seem to find a way without cancelling my Prime and re-signing up, which seems weird and makes me nervous.

Long shot devil’s advocate:

These two things are antithetical to one another in some parts of the world. Much more so now that we are decades into denying the existence of climate change, and therewith any responsibility to correct it or even reduce the activities that are causing it.
