When you were actually hooting it up in your Saturn, what was the actual gas mileage you were getting? It certainly wasn’t 45 while bombing around.

I actually expect this to become the base engine, since it is a smaller displacement, and makes less power than the 2.5 SkyActiv-G engine that is currently the only engine option available.

I would love to rent a Mazda 3 with the new engine for you to drive around with for a week, just so that you can post what it’s fuel economy numbers are according to your Long_Voyager fuel economy drive cycle test.
