I havent driven a Corolla, yet I am sure I know why I don't find it exciting.

The technology in the Tesla is amazing as is their ability to go to market, but to my eyes they feel like an electric Lexus. There is nothing that makes me want to drive one. The S is not bad looking, but not good looking either. I'm honestly bored by all the Tesla talk, even though I know its progress.
Mosport is my home track. It is not a place you feel comfortable at, right away. Not a track to play hero at. My first few times there were a little scary at times (I did get instructed by people who know). You work your speed up on a track like that. But man, once you "GET" it, it becomes one of the most rewarding…
Yes any car you drive less will have a lower impact.
Depends on what climate you live in. Still keeping a garage just above freezing is not nearly as carbon intensive as a driving everyday in commuter traffic.
glad you took the racist comments down
Exotics are Bad for the environment.
Should have been on Big Muscle.
Wow, so much class warfare going on here. Its not about how much cash you do or do not have. Why you added that to this talk is beyond me.
I don't think I ever said HATE
Sorry, yes I love everything everyone does.
It sounds like a car culture for people who would rather pose than actually drive.
Why would you want to go slow?
Why would you want to drive a yacht?
Why would you want your music to play out of your trunk when you are in the car?
I'm going back to the track, a SLAB free zone.
"I can't help but think this is just a consequence of a sport founded in theatrics"
So we will be seeing 6'3" jockeys some time soon?
Not really. Let the teams get to the minimm weight, but a lighter driver should still be an advantage. Come on, there are only so many sports where smaller guys can have an advantage. Every other sport lets the physicality of the athlete factor, why not racing?
Lighter drivers SHOULD have the advantage in a sport that values lightness. Honestly, do they add weight to the bikes of Tour De France because the rider is too light? Do we add weights to horses so they are all a similar weight, or to remove the advantage of a smaller jockey? Should we weigh down all marathon runner…
How stupid. the smart PR move would be to pay it and apologize because you too, believe everyone is equal before the law"
I hated seeing that written on the shift paddle. Talk about designing your car for marketing and not using. Makes me wonder what they wrote on the gas pedal.
For most modern exotics depreciation is the major cost of ownership. You just don't want to do the math on that, otherwise you would never own one.
