It should be illegal for insurance companies to charge you more if you don't want to give up your personal privacy. They are not giving you money if you accept, they are making you pay more if you do not.
Cool technology, but they feel like some kind of Lexus to me. Nothing makes me want it. The Fisker looked great, but worked crap.
Land of the free!!!!
Yawn, wake me when the drifting talk is over. Its the synchronized swimming of automotive sports. At best its figure skating. Lots of skill, but not really an empirical sport, more like car dancing.
I love how it takes nearly a full month with video evidence to see if there is a need to charge the officer, yet it would take no time at all to charge a citizen.
Don't let the fact that it was sent by Afroduck in anyway sully the content. Its very well reasoned and in most cases it shows why the current system is really designed around revenue and sound bites, not safety.
@ReverendDexter, I'm with you. I didn't quite get the need to move track data to a screen as small as a watch while I'm driving a car. For starters its near impossible to read while driving and is useless if you are wearing gloves.
i hope that cop was charged!!!!!
I wonder what ticket he gave himself??
Is he really in a position to judge another persons driving?
Am I the only person who found this incredibly boring????
HYPErloop is the perfect name for this because it sounds like the paper's real goal was to get people talking about how Musk is THE GUY who is going to revolutionize transportation. He just got credit for "fixing mass transit" without even doing anything.
For many buyers Luxury and Premium were the same thing. Few people had experienced either, so they judged them differently than they do today. In fact in America, there weren't really any 'LUXURY" sports cars, and lots of "performance" cars were not luxurious at all. This is when people still thought big boat cars…
Why was the camera man walking back and forth in front of a car supposedly doing a burn out?
I'm not an American, so please don't flame me for this observation:
They should have launched withe the cope first.
Every time you use police forces for needless speed ticketed you are taking away resources that should/could be deployed towards real crimes like child prostitution, drugs, wide abuse etc.
Back up cameras are mostly only useful for small things that are below the belt line and out of normal sight.
Things like small children who are moving and might escape your gaze in the mirrors. Its always surprising how often you read about a parent who has driven over their own kids.
