My government won't allow me to own an anti-aircraft gun or a bazooka, clearly its a violation of my right to bear arms.

I agree. Lane splitting is NOT safer for anyone.
They aren't mid-life crises, they are mid-life opportunities. Its not like we suddenly wake up and decide to love these types of cars etc. Its more that we have done all the rational stuff first and now we can finally buy the cars we always wanted.
If we had the dough in our twenties, we would have gotten the cars then…
The P1 is an amazing looking car, and it is mining a design language that is new. His car is beautiful, but so is the P1, in a totally different way. anyone who suggests that car is lacking soul. is insane, or blinded by their own bias.
Driving a car that has a loud but legal exhaust and speeding in a residential zone are not the same thing. Living in canada I do believe the Police were picking on him for the noise of his car. It does happen here and our Police would rather collect revenue than enforce the law.
BUT, driving like an ass on public…
These BMW GT cars are UGLY. They are following the same comfortable shoes brief as brands like Hyundai have in the past and it shows!! No one dreams of driving either of these cars.
Buy an Aston if thats the kind of car you want. Far more beautiful and just as engaging on streets. Plus it wil cost you less to maintain.
Yep, but the Audi R8 V10 is not an Aston Martin Vantage 12. I have both cars, I have them for different reasons. No one would ever buy them for the same reason if they knew cars.
EXACTLY!!!
A hot dog is an awesome thing. A steak is also awesome. They are both made of beef and bbq'ed.
Joseph I think you rather miss the point of a marque car. It is a point of view that is fashioned into machinery. There is no such thing as a random bunch of technology. Every decision is a decision not only to do something, but to not do something else.

Ford Europe have a history of amazing drivers cars, and even that was not the best deal.
The brand dose not survive, just the nameplate. It takes much more to actually make a brand survive. Just ask Saab.
I have owned two Astons and they are reliable. Hang out with real owners and you will see that MOST (no car can claim all) owners are very happy with their cars.
They must do something, thats a given. But please God not Toyota. They need someone like VAG, they have shown that they know how to build proper and competing luxury brands. Mercedes or even BMW would be a better choice.
The bigger picture is the culture and brand, existing for the sake of existing is not a good plan. They need a suitor, but a proper suitor. Not a mega car company that has made a handful of decent cars over the past 40 years. The whole point of Toyota is opposite to Aston. Its like asking Swatch or Timex to take over…
The whole point of Toyota is the opposite of Aston. They are all about watering things down so they are indestructible and boring enough for everyone. They don't have a taste, they OPTIMIZE consumers needs. They do things because they research firm told them too, not because its the vision of a person (for better or…
