This should have just been one sentence. "J-E-T... oh whatever. We're the fucking Jets."

The answer to "best intro to real board games?" hasn't changed in over 10 years: Carcassone!
Works for me.
Lifetime love affair.
This guy.
If you want people to understand your point of view you need to write worthy adversaries (Rand never did) or refrain from bait-and-switch (Phillip Glass). For two people who basically don't believe in god, they both wrote about the opposition in a religious way.
I have a fairly good team that plays within a few miles of my house with one of the largest fanbases in the world, so I support them. If I was close to say... "Chivas USA" I would probably have stuck with watching the top leagues on DVR all the time. I still head to the bars for the big European league matches though.
TO be fair you could hardly count Seattle as cherry-picked. They, unlike LAG and NYRB have actually earned their off the field status with the best off the field performance in the league.
NEWSFLASH: MLS has a hand in every deal an MLS team ever makes.
Unlike other major sports (NBA) which pretend to be fair to each team, MLS makes no qualms about bending the rules to benefit the league. They do it, you accept it or you watch something else. I'm trying to just get over it. Rooting for a favored team helps.
I really want a board game like this. I was hoping Risk Legacy would spawn dozens to choose from but I'm not sure they have even reprinted it.
They all look like prized athletes to me.
MLS does not have a salary cap. It has a bunch of bat-shit crazy roster rules that mostly help a few teams. I would love it if MLS ditched it's stupid rules and just had a salary cap.
@Yamato:
Contract while Seattle is looking to buy?
+1
Good for him but if you come out of the closet publicly, please use anything other than a site called "moon fruit".
1.) Never run backwards
That's stupid. Why? Because it was at the end of a game instead of the beginning? There were bad calls all game. One led to a Rodgers TD, should we remove that TD too?
