I’ve always thought smart phones potentially introduce so many possible plot holes in anything they’re used in. You either have a world without something that can make communication between people instant, or you have to somehow come up with a reason/way that those devices are rendered useless.

It’s interesting to see a Final Fantasy without airships or other industrial set pieces. I can’t think of a mainline FF that was before a time when whatever world it was set in was without mana-driven industry. Could be very wrong.

I think you may have misunderstood that comment. I don’t think it’s “old people” music. I love live music, it’s my favorite thing to do. And I love jazz clubs/bars. But a lot of people think that jazz is out of style, for whatever reason, so they equate it to a generational taste in music.
Cowboy Bebop is what got me into Jazz back during my freshman year of high school in 2000. SEATBELTS is just so damn good. I hate that it’s generally categorized as “old people” music.

I just checked the trophies on PSN and a whopping 2% of people that own the game have actually completed the story.
My wife and I loved season 1... and then season 2 was 10 episodes that ended with us yelling, “NOTHING FUCKING HAPPENED!” And we never looked back.
