the whole game screams pokemon, you can take away the name, the original pokemon, but you are still left with, the whole pokemon formula, so take away the 8 gyms, the 6 cratures in a party, natures, types, attacks, and you are basically left with nothing. it uses the pokemon IP more than you think. not just its name.

Honestly, though, with all the unique monsters and mechanics, I wonder why this wasn’t renamed and made into an original game inspired by Pokemon. Just strip it of the copyrighted stuff and it’s golden.

It’s more broken than that actually. All that matters is typing the first letter in between your opponents attacks, and then you can just type it out at your leisure. Oh well. Cute idea.
