Honestly I don't expect much... even if it's super-placeholder stuff and unfinished mechanics, or even just diagrams trying to explain how the flow of combat works, that would give me more to go off of. Running around doesn't really constitute gameplay that's going to sell me on a game, even one as pretty as this.

I know it's a tough ask, but I'm just saying that's where my preferences lie. I've seen a number of kickstarters put out a demo (or at least some early gameplay footage) and those ones really get my attention. This one in particular makes promises for mechanics that I'm not convinced they can fulfill.

I think it's the lack of in-between frames with each stride. The leg is forward, and then suddenly it's back... and it's also hard to distinguish front leg from back leg, as well.

I feel like he should have taken the project at least a step farther. Show us you're capable of delivering on that promise with the combat, even if it's just a single playable sliver of the game.. if it's impressive and it shows us what to expect, it would be well worth backing. As it stands right now... I see someone

Is it really cheating, though? You're MUCH less likely to be totally fine with leaving your $10 hair-wrangling multitool in the cart than a quarter, right? So unless I'm missing something about how this thing functions, all you're gaining by using this over a quarter is the ability to use a cart without requiring that

Mayo and ketchup is what we call "fry sauce" here in Idaho. Apparently it's not very popular on french fries in other states (tends to be I get funny looks when I ask about fry sauce when I'm traveling) but I swear by the stuff.

It totally is, depending on where you go. Back at a place I used to work at, we made ranch dressing by mixing a ton of mayo and water together along with some pre-packaged herb/spice blend. By all means it was disgusting to do, but I'll be damned if that wasn't the best ranch I've had to this day.

Made my day, you just did.

Furry is... well, it's a term that kind of comes packed with a lot of stereotypes/assumptions around the net, but generally a furry is just someone who considers themselves a big fan of anthropomorphic animals. Which could be anything from this to Bugs Bunny to Starfox. As for the "less family-friendly elements of the

Refer to my replies to the others who replied to this post for more detail on what I mean.

I'm just stating that I understand how this could be more offputting to people. I'm a furry, and not one who's sheltered from those less family-friendly elements of the fandom. I see plenty weirder things than sexy cow ladies daily. I'm not a WoW player so I'm not on top of things in terms of the game's style and

My response to the other guy goes into more detail:

It's definitely not exactly like the old one. It's still very similar in shape and size but the overall texture and definition on the character has been altered quite a bit.

I think they could have toned down the human elements a bit. The boobs definitely seem like a fetish-oriented thing, now more than before.

I went into a little more detail about what I meant in a different post. I think Minecraft, Terraria, Spelunky and Rogue Legacy were all improved by randomization/procedural generation, but overall it seems more often than not that when a game is randomized, it hurts the experience. Even in those games, I do sometimes

Roguelikes tend to have the absolute WORST generation, though. It's still really common for them to make rectangular rooms randomly filled with enemies, traps and items, with pathways connecting them. It doesn't make every playthrough of a level feel fresh and new, it instead makes every playthrough of every level

It's cute, but I can NOT get over the massive freaking bulldozer lower jaw that Charizard has going on there. That looks nothing like the other illustrations of Charizard, like they just couldn't figure out how to draw his head at a different angle than usual. (though they sure did draw his body in the usual angle)

It's their way of touting every lazy dev's favorite feature: randomization.

I swear half those shots in the Titanfall video weren't even aimed at the enemy. Like, they were definitely NEAR them, but not on their vitals, if on their body at all.

I'd love to see that. These artists deserve much more recognition than just a simple list of their names at the end!
