Mostly that it's a slapped-together Unity game in a tiny, feature-barren map which is so incomplete that enemies literally fall from the sky (enemies which I'm led to believe are taken directly from Unity's asset store, which is a whole new level of lazy) and there's no boundary to the map. Everything you see in the

Yeah, gonna have to call you out on those quotes of yours. I really don't like what that implies.

We used to have those, remember? They were called unlockables, once long ago...

I didn't have to know that was Bioshock Infinite, you know.

I think Odin Sphere did better, but then that's just a later Vanillaware game and everything those guys do is gorgeous.

Since when is anything about the action or setting in CoD realistic? If it were, MW would have involved 12 hours of standing around, an hour or two of paperwork, then three hours hiding behind a wall waiting for some dude over the radio telling you it's okay to shoot at the turban guys now.

I don't say this often, but... more trumpet! The Gerudo Valley theme, especially in mariachi style, really needs the trumpet kick to the face. Here, the melody is almost drowned out, even with multiple trumpets playing it!

To be fair I personally struggle a lot with trying to set realistic parameters to make believable texture work. It's a lot tougher than one might think.

It's a decent reason to not like it, but come on! Isn't that pretty much every game that doesn't have a good story? What would this guy think of Mario or Zelda? Any 8-bit game ever made? They're not exactly pushing the boundaries on storytelling and worldbuilding, or at least not any moreso than the Souls series. To

It's rather depressing that the PaD formula for free-to-play is catching on so well. It makes a ton of money if you get the "whales" (a whole other can of worms I'm not opening here, but just know I hate that term dearly) to buy into it, but it's such an awful cash-grab that it really hurts to see those techniques

I suppose the same could be said of fantasy and sci-fi races. What's the need for having short humans and blue humans and long-eared, skinny and tall humans if they're also just having human problems?

They're already putting so much money into making the game look good. Might as well go all the way with the production values in a way that makes it play good, as well.

I dunno, it took me like 15 minutes to finally get through that knife fight cutscene in RE4. You really weren't given much time to react.

This, so much.

Why are they still doing "boy" and "girl" toys? I thought we were at least somewhat past that.

So.. exactly what are those two in the middle? I'm not sure I have the time to play DLC/expansions so I'd probably just want to stick to the 'necessary' parts of the series in the interest of time.

Huh, that's odd. I figured disabling my HID devices would make me unable to play the game... given that the mouse and keyboard I'm using show up as those. :P

You're making me wish FEAR actually worked on my PC.

I think two things could turn this around for those who care who they're better than. Leaderboards could give players who legitimately want to know how close to the top they are a good way to see where they stand. It kind of opens back up the possibility of hackers messing with their stats to get up on the

It sounds a lot better for the low rankers. It's not an insurmountable number that says how many people you need to get better than. It's a small number which rises as you win/improve, which shows how many people you have are better than. It's now a quantifiable measuring stick of progress, instead of an
