Yeah I agree with pretty much everything you said... I still think the authorization thing is a sensible solution to needing the player powered down, but perhaps what they should have done is had some reason Samus needed to have her stuff taken away.

That actually makes a lot of sense. I never bothered to look up who voiced her or any of that. Really, it's like what I said in other comments about the writing. It was a legitimately good story in my eyes.. or it could have been. It's a great first draft, the way I see it. Lots of good ideas and plenty of hooks and

I didn't really explain so eloquently why I think the story has potential.

Not entirely. The thing is, I absolutely see where they were going with it and the story had some legitimately GOOD ideas in it. The symbology of the 'mother' and 'baby' thing, had it been handled with more care (they pretty much beat everyone over the head with it starting only minutes into the game and lasting the

Gonna go with Kenshiro and say that Gordon Freeman could just as easily be a grey blob in the shape of a human. He could be literally anyone or anything, as long as that anyone/anything is a super-smart scientist. He's basically a self-insert sort of thing. He has no personality that's even alluded to, nor do his

It's all because they couldn't communicate the story properly. Samus has had emotions and felt the way toward Adam that she did in Other M ever since Fusion, and that story was just fine. The thing is, Fusion wasn't packed to the brim with cutscenes that tried to be good but were poorly written and even more poorly

Looks like the Dragonite got stuck in a literally magical infinite loop of using buffs that had no effect.

One of the nice things about the game is that you're allowed to go anywhere you want to. So if one challenge is too hard, regardless of if that's where you're supposed to be going at that point or not, you can go try another instead.

I'm pretty sure there is. It's not specifically called that, but I'm fairly sure it's classed as an "ultra greatsword" or something to that effect. Very heavy sword, about 40 strength requirement if I remember right, definitely too much to wield right off the bat but once you get to use it you can cut through a lot of

(keep in mind that I'm using the "you all" version of "you", not just specifically addressing Deeps in this post)

Agreed, wholeheartedly. You're likely to die doing it, but if you nab that greatsword and run REAL FAST OUT, you can make it back to the bonfire alive. And really... what's one more death in the grand scheme of the game?

I find this rather...

I was wearing fedoras before they got cool. And I love how deliciously ironic every word of that sentence is. Not joking, not trying to be high and mighty (because there is zero value in wearing a thing unless it's a prestigious medal you earned) but that's literally the case. I wore fedoras because they looked good

I would advise against attempting to jump into a game unless that happens to be a superpower you possess.

Personally I'd rather see a Zelda game where both characters get some good play-time. Link portions of the game would emphasize courage, fighting tooth and nail with baddies and overcoming obstacles through determination, and Zelda parts would be more focused on exploration, deeper puzzle solving and "smart" combat.

I kind of love that about Zelda. They have a lot of really odd, somewhat creepy things in there all over the place but never usually sinister and horrifying. And then they have some creatures that would almost fit in better in Silent Hill and they're just so terrifying when put in contrast with the rest of the game.

How I wish I could be playing this on my PC right now...

Ah, I see. Well, it's nice that he doesn't really take himself too seriously.

Wow, lots of Adam Sessler hate here.

Two things about that comparison:
