I'm waiting for the next Second Life to come along, using a control scheme like this.

At that price? You'd be crazy NOT to get it.
Yeah, they DID point out what he was using in the article but not everyone knows what the Hydra is.
Interesting. Where did you end up that you're paying more for living now than before? I'm up in Moscow, barely a mile or more from anything I need here, paying maybe $700 total a month for living in a 2 bedroom place. That's factoring in everything but food, really.
I've lived here nearly all 24 years of my life. The only other state I lived in was California, for most of the first year. I don't remember much but I can say after a few family visits there to Vallejo, the state hasn't left the best impression on me. ^^;
Can I have video please? I must see this bigger.
I'm surprised Idaho didn't get the same result. We're basically North Utah. Our only contributions to the country are potatoes and mormons.
I would say it looked like he was doing great. Assuming he's never used the Hydra before it's amazing that he can manipulate it well enough to be able to easily snatch it up and check the bottom for a serial number, and so quickly get his wire cutters in there on the correct wire. It's not perfect of course, but you…
I like how well the Hydra works. The fact that you can interact with something so accurately really gets me thinking it would make an excellent controller to use along with the Oculus, especially for first-person environments. It's a shame there isn't a whole lot of support for it out there, but hopefully it does pick…
"Our policy is to protect our IP and also respect the IP of others," writes Riccardo Zacconi, King's CEO and co-founder in a statement appended to his company's corporate site today. "Like any responsible company, we take appropriate steps to protect our IP, including our look-and-feel and trademarks. Our goals are…
Oh, nice. ^^ I hope you like it! I recommend if you have anyone to play with, multiplayer is the best in this game. But do be wary of grinding your way past all the low level stuff with high level players. Learning the basics is important before you get to the really scary stuff. :> Even though picking mushrooms,…
Yeah, it's probably one of the scariest things imaginable... to have the person you love most in life do something like that, and to know you'd never see them again.. that's the last impression he left on her, and the world. THAT.
There's a good reason for almost every design decision in the mechanics of the game. Drinking potions and using items, especially. They don't want you to be able to quickly and easily down a bunch of potions. Every action you take while in the presence of a monster has weight and meaning to it. Eating something is far…
Ever heard of Sweet Tooth 2?
It's not everyone's thing but I love the new ads with Mr. Screaming Man Dude. Now, a seemingly completely normal, completely unrelated Charmin commercial where a screaming buff man suddenly bursts into the bathroom and starts spraying body spray out of his mouth? I mean, you simply never expect what's coming, and it…
I love the modding community in this. I expect some magnificent things from mods in Starbound, because I've actually made one of my own (a species mod) and I know to some extent how deep the rabbit hole goes here. You can basically change ANYTHING in this game, and the potential to add rather than overwriting is near…
It's very similar but with a lot of improvements and sort of a different direction overall.
I don't blame you and, in fact, you made a wise decision. The first 5 tiers are alright but a bit barebones right now... and the rest blow by in no time. You feel super underpowered at first once you hit Sector X (which contains tier 5-10 planets) but if you avoid monsters well enough you gather up a ton of good stuff…
It's an excellent question. I hadn't even heard about Flappy Bird until I read Bernstein's take on it this morning, largely because the free app charts on iTunes are a joke. While the paid charts can be taken as an indicator of a popular, well-made app or game, the free charts are home to oddball titles like 100 PICS…
