I don't have time to read that long ass rambling mess, but it's clear at least two faces on that album are women of color. And also (and I say this as a Black woman), who gives a fuck? Who has the energy to get outraged about every random thing? Is it just me or does the collective Twitter population all seem to have

I am in complete agreement with Pharrell here. I was just reading an interview where they asked Vanessa Williams if dark skin actresses experience more discrimination than light skin actresses and she said (I paraphrase) "Its hard for anybody of color to get work in Hollywood doesn't matter what shade color you are-

So people got mad a Pharell for not having a black woman on his album cover. Pharell points out there is a black woman on his album cover. People are still mad at Pharell. Is it just me or does this post make zero sense?

Can't blame him one bit. Considering all the concessions black men have made to black women over the years, even to the extent of betraying our masculinity in deference to black feminism, it's well past time to call it even. I'm not even that big a fan of Pharrell, but he is dead on here.

No matter what, you people (you Jezebel) will have something to complain about so you can keep the clicks coming.
Yawn.

Okay, outside of the fact that, with regards to his album cover, he's 100% right, why the hell do I care what this guy thinks about politics? Why was the question even asked?

Why not reply with a photo of her in a bunny suit but leave out the context that she wrote an expose about the terrible sexism at Playboy?

Added so that the relevant reply would be connected to this post.

Oh FFS. It's from when he was dating Audrey Gelman, who works for Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer. I can think of a dozen plausible scenarios where an influential New Yorker meets the boyfriend of a powerful political aide at an event and agrees to take a photo with him like she does with plenty of people

Right?? So this one picture that she took with someone who she may very well have not known somehow negates everything else she's done in her life? It must be so nice to judge everyone so harshly and feel so correct about it.

I was married at City Hall and I don't regret it for one minute. Our wedding party was all of 10 people, including us and the photographer, I hadn't even cracked a wedding magazine, and I ignored all the wedding websites. I mean, our dinner reservation was made through Opentable. It was the greatest decision I've

I have worked with Gloria for years and just want to say for the record, Terry approached her at an event as asked for a photo and she said yes, because she ALWAYS says yes to photos (when she can). She had no idea who he is. Just so y'all know.

Did you take a cookie and stare her directly in the eye while you ate the whole thing in one bite?

Agreed, 100%, but I think Posh herself acknowledged that at some point, possibly after her short-lived solo singing career went tits up in no time flat.

Let's face it, Posh was the worst singer.

SHH. Every time somebody says that, a Kardashian gets a magazine cover.

Cue influx of people who don't understand how racism and institutional power works in 3, 2, 1....

I understand the experiences with sexism which inform why women rock fans are giving Sarah O'Holla crap, yet having reasons doesn't mean one isn't still playing into the boy's club game. It's still indulging the gender policing and gatekeeping which rockers, geeks employ to ignore women's voices with a veneer of not

Considering the entire Gawker network - including Jezebel - milks the populist outrage and class division thing, it's a highly valid point. It also plays into Jezebel's double standard - if some other site had put a $10,000 bounty on Dunham's head, you can bet Jezebel and HamNo and others would be the first to
