I get it, but its kinda like the Honda’s where you can open a catalog and order everything to swap a newer motor in. There is less and less custom work going into it to make the swap a reality.

And seeing as the Acadia is offered in a 5 passenger configuration (2020 AT4 is 5 only, currently base model can be had that way) it makes sense for Chevy to come up with a medium sized 5 passenger vehicle. Look at how well the Grand Cherokee and Edge do.

Its all about the Bow Tie... But really we have older clients that want something that sits up but dont need the third row. I also sell Buick GMC and Ford so that kinda slows down getting certain things.

and now theres a few bolt on kits to drop Hemi’s in them... what a time to be alive

I work for a dealer and we ware still waiting on them to show up

Yeah 20/20 fuel economy is kinda screwy sounding. but seeing real world results on the gauge cluster tells me that these trucks are leaps and bounds better than the models that were designed for economy. I’m still waiting to see how the 3.0 Duramax does because if it does closer to 30 its going to be a strong selling

5.3 with the 8 speed actually does better than the old hybrids and its pretty impressive

Right now their current truck, driven like a dickhead, gets the same fuel economy their Hybrid models did... Proven by my bosses gauge cluster

Reassurance it wont flop like their Hybrid Trucks and SUV’s did

you mean the extra reinforced area around the rear of a vehicle that is not supposed to crumple like the front of a vehicle? Only passenger vehicles on the road that have a “rear crumple zone” are pickup trucks. Theres a reason they allow seats back there, its because of all the layers of steel there to keep a vehicle

I know, thats why I have 4 trucks in my driveway. But in the near future I will be in the market for something like an Enclave and already know how its being ordered.

growing up we had 1 minivan, i at the age of 3 totaled it in a driveway.. I dont do vans

Honestly as a 30yo bachelor I would rather have a crossover like the Buick for weekend use (ie road trips down to the beach to visit family) because it blends in so well

these are replacing them every day... mainly because of styling

They top out where a bare bones Tahoe/Yukon start so its kinda par for the course.. And a Traverse is literally the same size as a Tahoe, with more space.

Out of the 4 “Family” Crossovers I sell, the Enclave is by far my favorite. Its not overly styled, but the styling it has is clean and unoffensive. I tell customers that IF I were in the market for something like it, Enclave Premium is where I am at. Well equipped, price isnt that far out of line with others equipped

Rivian is a bit unconventional in design and still says that it is a truck. But the RIMAC actually has my attention. The performance is incredible.

I’m a truck guy and the Rimac has my attention. I think its a good design, could use some tweaking for others to get on board but for where its at in development its great.

GMC is a bit more upscale than the Chevy. Even WT to WT the GMC is just slightly nicer to be in. It really is trivial at this point when an SLT GMC and LTZ Chevy are exactly the same, and cost about a grand different

They were going to share a frame but the deal fell through
