Agreed. When you can get a 53k truck for about 43k thanks to rebates, and toss in a few grand for it being a demo, its a win win

A lot of dealers use an ALLY floor plan to keep the inventory up and have a decent selection of vehicles. So the vehicles are on loan from the bank, and cost the dealership X amount per unit after a certain time. The manufacturer money is more of an incentive to get the old units out of there and still profit a little.

You are correct. I sell new GM products (aside from Cadillac) at $300 over invoice, minus rebates. Now some vehicles the markup between invoice and MSRP is laughably small (lookin at you Trax) so we tend to just stick to MSRP minus rebates. 

I will say there are some “Hidden” rebates but its more of a selective thing from the manufacturer. GM sends out private offers for various amounts on various vehicles. So if you got a letter in the mail and it said “$1500 off New Silverado LT Allstar Edition” you would get that on top of what ever other rebates and…

It is literally intoxicating to drive.. Runs a bit rich and the exhaust is right under your ass, and at 6'2 I had to have the top down to get in and out so you can just imagine what it was like sitting at a stop sign.

How about clicking the INSANE button... I currently have an Underground Racing built Viper in my inventory. 1200hp on 93octane pump gas, 1500hp on race gas... Plus it fits in with the rest of his sports cars by not having a real roof...
