Oops, didn't know there was a statute of limitations on gray market cars. Anyway, awesome track day or daily driver
This has some issues (legality being just one) but at $2800 you could make it a track day car and just not title it. Or work to get it titled and have an awesome daily driver
I would rather read a rambling Craigslist ad than "For sale: Car. Red. $2800. Chevy?"
so the engine got rebuilt after only 18K miles? Do Isuzus suck really bad or is someone lying?
My great uncle always bought reddish brown trucks because they matched the dirt on his farm and he didn't have to wash them as much. Crazy cheap genius of a man
Actually, over a certain amount pennies aren't legal tender. It was a law enacted to stop people from paying thousands of dollars in taxes in pennies, which some people had. Not sure of the amount and this may still be legal but there is an upper limit.
So most kids drive older small cars so most kids who die in crashes die in small, old cars. If everyone follows these rules, in five years will the report say "Most kids who die in crashes die in newish mid size cars and SUVs. We suggest older small cars for kids."
In Missouri getting Historic Plates is cheaper than regular plates and you don't have to have it inspected as much. You are limited to how many miles you drive it a year but this is a 1980s Chrysler, how many miles are you going good to be able to drive it a year anyway?
I feel the same way for the PA Cruiser: what could have been a neat looking and fun driving car was let down by weak drive train and ultimately by a company that just gave up on it.
I like the SVX but it wasn't just the automatic that hurt it. It was heavy, especially for the engine it had, and it was expensive: $25,000 for the base (!) model. And that was back when $25k was real money.
The Chiefs are a weird case since they are named after the former mayor of KC but then use the arrowhead symbol and call their stadium arrowhead. That legal battle will be neat to watch (if you are into court battles)
I can't believe how modern that tricycle from 1899 looks. Talk about putting all the hipsters on your block to shame with their 1950s fixies.
I was driving a big truck for work and to get out of our industrial park you had to drive through a short, narrow, one lane tunnel under some railroad tracks. I was going slow because it was a work truck, I was new on the job and the tunnel was all of 12 inches wider than the truck I was driving. I'm 3/4 way through…
This is CP but...it would be easy to find in a parking lot full of minivans and SUVs that look like minivans. I've been tempted to spray paint my Montero's luggage rack this color orange just to be able to see it better in the Target parking lot. And a 99 Montero isn't exactly a minivan clone. Tempting to get this if…
I would say that her handlers should take her keys away and just say "Here, this limo will take you any where you want to go" but then, they can't keep the cocaine out of her nose so maybe this is asking too much. Also, who does cocaine anymore? Isn't it all meth and heroin now?
The announcer on this needs to do hockey games
This had to be designed with a Bond villain in mind. Outside meeting table to scheme with fellow bad guys while naked women sunbathe around you. Transforming abilities. Garage with super car. Everything a one named bad guy needs.
It's like someone said, "Well, I have a decent Olds body, an plasma cutter and the chassis from an old Mini. What to do, what to do..."
It's nice to hear that even in Russia seeing a giant fireball that close up makes people sound like Bill and Ted.
