Yeah the frame replacement was a wild one. My mom’s laughably old Taco got a frame replacement. So, good on them for that... And yeah, I have to assume the engine replacement is a hefty bit of money when multiplied by the number of trucks they might have to do..

Any mission to colonize Mars would be 1-way. The impossible conditions, lack of resources, and inability to receive aid in anything close to a timely manner would ensure that the chances of anyone being able to return are slim to none.

After the ship’s sinking, Willson claims he no longer owns the Aurora.

Since it’s in the hands of a dealer, I’m surprised the asking price isn’t 2-3x that in search of a nostalgia market.

I know right.  Then he offered to send one of his daughters to “Thank me for my service” *wink wink nudge nudge* LMAO

My concern was that the Tundra recall was related to debris that “may” be present in the engine, and was never a fully-solved event. And I’m not sure that Toyota is being all that transparent about it.

The oval office desk drawer with the knob for car insurance prices is right under the drawer with the knob for gas prices. It would be easy to lower prices, but Biden just keeps cranking those knobs up. Sad!

A friend ofine had identical Dodge Dually w diesel setups, pulling similar trailers.

It does. there’s a money factor involved in the lease (that’s the interest rate) and you can modify that as well with a additional deposit.

car interest rates has NEVER been that forward looking because it’s only a 5-7 year loan.

You can rent a whole lot of trucks from Home Depot for $40,000.

I remember when there was that Jeep full EV prototype thing, it still had an actual transmission with 4WD and such, and wasn’t direct-drive like almost all other EVs on the market. So I would be surprised if the PHEV has any sort of direct drive. I think with the Prius Prime, one axle is electric and one axle is gas

neither did i - was very confused how car at 23k could have that squeal, but through the magic of the internet...

Which was cause by something electrical (the front seat Motor if I recall) and had nothing to do with the drivetrain components. Electricity’s scary stuff, even when it’s off it’s still on.

LC’s have a well known propensity for gawd awful brake squeal on early models- mine’s a 2019, original owner put 23k on it but never brought it in for warranty covered brake replacement... i bought just after warranty expired, so... :) plenty o meat on em, but the low speed squeal.... yikes.  i hear newer models are

giant tires, short gearing, heavy weight , brick aero. Nothing about the wrangler is done for efficiency it’s basically the worst case scenario.

But, crucially, this guy may not know that.

You’re leaving out the story’s most important detail, she went to Target because she wanted a Frappuccino for breakfast. Why an eight year old is so addicted to Frappuccinos that she drove 10 miles is a mystery.

Florida Central. They don’t advertise their best rates to good existing members with exceptional credit ratings, which is not at all unusual.

The truck driver volunteered to do damage to his own truck. That the insurance company is off the hook for whatever might have happened is some consideration, but I think the same Good Samaritan protection against things gone bad also prevents collecting on damages to himself.
