That is really hidden on their site. Doesn’t look you can access it at all when you are there, you need that link. Also looks like it is only on current and soon to be built inventory as you need to take delivery before March 31st AND it can’t be a custom build.

$2,200 in ‘04 is around $3,700 today. There are a ton of cars sub $3,500 that I would give to a new driver.

I would assume the reason for the degree is that they want people that can be promoted to the PR/marketing department. I agree that it is gatekeeping to some extent, but I guess they want you to prove some proficiency in the field before the invest time and money into you.

My opinion doesn’t matter much, since I am a white dude. But I grew up in PA, live in MD and spend a lot of time in PA and WV for work. WV people are legitimately nice, but in a mind your own business type way. PA, some areas get real dicey. VA, you still have south there and rural VA (South of DC/Fredericksburg or

This reminds me that I need a really sweet car theme desk and/or chair for my office. Just don’t want something too tacky, but I feel like it will be, no matter what.

If you are traveling around in this doing PR and events the pay doesn’t matter. You are mostly never home and have all your stuff paid for, this is for a fresh out of college kid getting into the PR world job. Pay is in line with duties once you take into account all the fringe benefits.

Agree, if I am driving for fun, ICE is the only way to go. The sounds, smells, feeling and interaction all make it a more special experience. EV’s just seem bland to me, with one “trick” up their sleeve to not be and they all have the same trick, snore.

No idea honestly.

I would rather have the rocks my kids collect than this thing.

Yea, WOOF!

It is semantics, it was obviously funded by VW, but not VW of America... So that statement is true, but has some small details there.

I don’t really care, but you gotta love technicalities... “its South Carolina production plant was not funded by VWGoA” of course not. It was VWGoA’s parent company which has NOTHING to do with VWGoA, right guys? Right?

Haha, a simple, “What is the aero drag of a FJ40?” Followed by a “No.” would have been great.

People are crazy. I paid $2,200 for my first car in ‘04 or so and it was an 18 year old Mercedes. Looking at my local FB marketplace there are TONS of cars for $2,500 that look reasonably serviceable. Sure, cars are more expensive, but that is how inflation works over time. Would I love to buy a semi decent car for

It was a low air pressure pelican!

Not sure where current F1 market is, but the highest I could find was $20mm in 2021, so this 917 would be up there too. The 250 GTO market is more like $30mm to start up to who knows what. Apparently, there was a MB 300SLR that sold for $142mm, but that isn’t a normally available car.

It looks like just over half of our imports are from Canada on a monthly basis. Compared to actual US production, it is about 4mm barrels a day compared to 13mm BBL production a day in the US, give or take. We use about 18mm BBL per day and import a total of around 7.8mm bbl per day and export about 4mm bbl per day.

Definitely looks more like a the XB70, but since the Bell X-1 was the first supersonic plane in history, I thought the XB-1 was closer to that. Maybe not though.

Yes and no. Kind of a hard thing to type out, but we import a lot of oil from Canada to be refined here and then exported while adding in US supply and supply from other countries. At the end of the day, “it is complicated” is kind of the best I can do. Essentially, we use tons of different oil types, not all crude is

This screams, “I just won a decently large jackpot on the slot machine!” This is exactly what someone who won like $50k would buy and then go bankrupt in 6 months vs 3 that was going to happen.
