Aware of that, just responding to the comment that the eCVT should last the life of the vehicle. Especially in a Toyota.

No, it comes free with one of my credit cards. I probably wouldn’t pay for it on my own, but once I was made aware that it was available, I signed up immediately.
I mean, it is Chrysler, so that isn’t impossible. Makes in rarer with a factory scratch.
Uhh, yes and no? The top 15 teams (I think) get lotto tickets commiserate with they EoY standings. So the worst team gets the most entries and the 15th team the least. And then they pick the order from that. So out of 100 entries the top team will have like 20 and then the teams have less from there. I don’t know the…
Yea, but state and fed incentives are much more sustainable than OEM ones. State and Feds don’t need to turn a profit to stay in business. And from the looks of a lot of EV’s have at least equal gov to OEM incentives at least and then a lot have more OEM than gov incentives too.
When and how does this naming convention happen/take place? Because right now, their website does not reflect that. If it happens over a few years or at some point on a set date, it is going to be confusing, not that I care. But it seems like an odd choice to me.
That is possible, but there are also gov mandates at play here. I live in a ZEV state, so OEM’s have to sell a certain amount of EV/PHEV’s a year. Some OEM’s have gone the pure compliance route and some have been more aggressive with sales plans and production. But the common factor, is almost all the EV’s need a lot…
Well, if the stories are true, it was pretty much that. Rich Paul (Bron’s good friend and business partner), Bron and Bronny’s agent, actually told other teams that if they drafted Bronny (people thought it was a valid way to get Bron to come to their team) that Clutch sports (Rich Paul’s agency) wouldn’t let any of…
Can confirm that my Highlander Hybrid with a CVT has 292k miles on it and gets driven almost every day. The CVT is a bit laggy, but otherwise it is fine.
Yep, it is wild. I haven’t looked at the lux-EV’s at all but it is hard to believe that these deals can continue on for a long time. Most of these are taking multiple hits on the OEM. First, they put big lease cash on the hood lowering the cap cost AND then when lease turn in time comes, they get smacked by more than…
Google says it is held privately, but they obviously use it for their own uses to some extent. You can disable it if you want, but sometimes it is actually nice. Like where did we go to eat 2 years ago for our anniversary? Oh, here it is!
Yall remember that time Elon had someone “try to kidnap” his kid to get the Elonjet one removed? Pepperidge farm remembers.
Meh, it is kind of whatever. Where he was drafted and the role he will serve on the Lakers makes it kind of a whatever thing. Could someone else be there? Sure! But would likely be the same role, aka, a non-factor on a team.
Yea, second round in the NBA draft (especially 2nd half of round 2) is essentially teams hoping to get lucky and maybe find a depth player that can fill a certain role or a complete project player.
Was NOT draft pretty high. Second round in the NBA is the last round and usually used on hopefully bit players and/or major projects.
#1 is by far the best and worst at the exact same time. The tailgating one was a close second as they were just in a parking lot near the Chrysler HQ building.
Yea, I am not very good at electronics but me too. Seems like a pretty easy and good idea. I actually need to do this for an outdoor stereo connection now that I think of it. I used what I call butt splices and now my left speaker won’t work after some renovations, so I am hoping it is just a bad connection.…
I would also assume that in this case the best practice would be to solder and then have a shrink cover over top of the joint to make it waterproof and also help it not vibrate apart.
Yea, the EV deals are pretty wild. Most of them roll in the fed credit, but will end up with $12k+ off MSRP on the lease. I am a fan of the no money down leases, but that is just me. It is crazy that you can get a brand new car for essentially the price of a kind of used one (that 10-15k range) and then have three…
Of all the places to find an Indian restaurant, this is one I would not have expected. I mean, outside of like the mid-west or far north Yucca, AZ with a 4.5 star Indian place? Color me surprised.
