Haha, they come in little triangles, not a bad little road snack once in a while. I eat well most of the time, so something gross once a month or less isn’t too big a deal.

Last name of the family that started it.

Yea, I am just not on board with the Buc-ee’s hype. The whole point of getting food at a gas station is quick in and out. As long as I can get gas and food/drink in short order, that is my biggest thing. I am usually grabbing quick lunch or a snack along with drinks, so I don’t even want to think about BBQ, lol.

Yea, I can see that. We were driving to New Orleans 10 years ago or so and stopped at a random gas station in Mississippi or Alabama and got some good fried Okra. I can see some of those one-off family owned places having good food. I guess I was more talking about the chain places that have a ton of locations with

Never been to Buc-ee’s, but all the rest are just kind of meh. I stop at Sheetz a lot because of where I drive for work, but there is no great gas station food IMO. I do like the variety that Sheetz has to offer though. I can get a veggie wrap or deep-fried mac and cheese, even tacos and a ton of other stuff.

You know Apple was not the first smart phone or phone with that form factor...right? Sure, most of the others had real keyboards, but same overall shape.

Unsustainable incentives are also on the OEM side, fed tax credit aside.

The problem is that even with rising sales, pretty much all OEM’s are hemorrhaging money selling them.

Hmm, we must try this for science. I haven’t seen a car review that lists the amount of average humans put through a grinder that could fit in a car.

I get that a lot of commuting is done solo, but so many people go places with more than one other person, it makes no sense to me.

A 2 seat “cybercab”? 2 seats, really?

I mean, the base LX starts at $93k and the Ultra Luxury version starts at $134k, with other trims in between, so yes would be your answer. Agree they are missing out on a lot of things that are needed for strip mall runs though.

Yep, exactly. What a shit show.

My wife has one, not an f-sport though, and it has been just fine. She doesn’t drive a lot, but for a 2013 with only 91k miles on it, it is good. Interior is pretty nice but maybe a touch small with all four of us in it, hatch is kind of small too. Great gas mileage, trouble free ownership over the past 8 years and

Me either, so it is hard to say. But traditionally creditors are near the top. I would assume vendors and people owed money get lumped into that segment but then there are different levels secured/unsecured and bond holders with different rights and all that. Where you don’t want to be is after the creditor class with

Yes, Biden went around a put lamb’s blood on the doors to signify houses to destroy and not destroy... At least that is what I heard.

It just looks like it was tested in years past and the top pick connotation carries through to the end of that generation unless there is some change or new test. From a segment stance, the Rav is definitely a small SUV or CUV if you will, Highlander is mid-sized.

I did check Volvo and MB, MB was a bit harder to figure out, no small SUVs shown back to 2017, so maybe they didn’t make it? But Volvo had 4 small SUV’s that were tested in ‘23 or ‘22 and their ratings are good through at least ‘24.

I have a feeling it is due to no new models being tested in ‘24. I checked Toyota, who also doesn’t show up here for anything and a lot of their models were tested in years past and ratings go until this MY or possibly further.

This list is a bit misleading as it looks like a lot of vehicles weren’t tested or retested in ‘24 but their tests before this year still carry the same ratings. For example, the Rav4 isn’t on here, but on the IIHS site their rating of top pick is good for MY ‘19-’24. I am sure this is the same with other OEM’s/Models.
