As an ex-miata owner, I have a really weird and irrational soft spot for old brit roadsters. I was once asked about what kind of car I would want and after talking about how terrible owning an old British car would be, my answer was an old British roadster. Maybe I am a sucker for punishment...

Slide 8, with kids, you can NEVER have a moment to just think about driving. It kind of stinks, because they are asking questions, and I like that. But man, it gets hard to focus. And when they are bickering over some random inane thing, ughh, that is way worse.

I only wish I had more time to take my first gen Highlander offroad. You can bet that when I get a chance, I take the most ragged way to my destination. More than a few times my wife has said, “where are you going?” when we turn down a road that is more trail than road.

Always nice to see a company do something they probably didn’t have to do I guess. I do my own oil changes, I guess I would be screwed!

I guess they are doing better, but selling 10k units a month across the entire US is not good. Polestar is like 1k a month so very poor at best.

Now playing

Gotta go Larry June and his ASC McClaren in “Recaro Seats”. Plus, Larry is cool.

Let’s see you try and play, then we can judge if your take is legitimate. If it is “barely a sport” you should be able to play it pretty well.

I won’t lie, you had me in the first half.

It won’t do well, nothing Polestar has sold or really even Volvo, has done well. And they are losing tons of money selling next to nothing, great business model.

They will dozens of these! Polestar (or Volvo) makes no sense, can they just go away now?

Easy NP, not that I want it, but I also can’t believe a dealer is selling this for $2,500.

Yep, that have mostly done that, see frame replacements on trucks way older than both my children. I would bet a new engine in a truck is a $15k or so cost. The whole new engine, plus all the hours to install is not a cheap endeavor.

No, not really. But it does make for a fun mental image.

But the weird thing is that the Hybrid powertrain doesn’t have the same issue (that I know of) and that is essentially the same engine, built elsewhere. Maybe the bearing was contributing to the issue, but not the root cause or the debris issues was directly messing with those bearings or something. A lot of options,

It may well be, I would bet that even ones outside the window that have engine failure will get a solid look at reason and warranty engine replacement.

Can you have your digital ID on multiple devices? Just wondering what the ability to have multiple people with multiple devices using the same “ID”?

That was nice of him!

When I was in Philly and my then GF, now wife was in Bmore we would alternate going back and forth on the weekends. I took greyhound a few times, but after one time I couldn’t get a ticket due to system issues and I took Amtrak, I never took greyhound again and likely never will. I left after and made it before my bus

This isn’t really “sketchy” per se, but maybe a little. When I lived in Philly, I was living in Port Richmond the last three months before I moved to Bmore with my wife, who had already moved. I rode my bike to work every day and then after work, I would ride to my ex-college (this is post-graduation) to go to the gym.

Damn, you beat me to the gas prices. I thought the President set all the gas prices in the AM. Just goes through a huge excel sheet typing in prices and then updates all the digital boards in one fell swoop.
