I am not a Tesla Elon fan in any way, but I really think it has changed. They had really lofty goals for cars sales and now...that is nowhere to be seen. Taking all kind of actions and naming goals that have almost or nothing at all to do with selling more cars. Which as I remind everyone, is their only real meaningful

What a terrible idea. Imagine if you had someone that really didn’t like you and they decided to light up your house all night? I am getting a bit sick of the “move fast, break something” mentality that has no regard for anything but themselves.

DAMN IT! I always forget the feather to bricks conversion factor!!!

Yep, that seems to be the case here.

Sometimes a seriously hate lawyers.

But PHEV’s are cheaper than a similar EV in most cases. My wife is a great example, she could get a PHEV or BEV and not have to worry about range since she drives less than 15 miles a day most days. So, if you are looking to buy, a PHEV is a better deal and won’t depreciate nearly as quickly as a BEV. Now, leasing

You obviously don’t have kids, because you would know that telling kids what to do is futile at best. And double bad when it comes to shenanigans like using a pop out cup holder as a jumping pad.

Ahh yes, the old lease an EV trick. That makes sense in that case. It is nice to essentially get a new car for 40-50% off MSRP. Then at the end of lease you can buy it for another 20-30% discount too!

I am going to guess 30k lbs of feathers.

That is all GVW, not curb weight.

Progress is progress, I guess? But didn’t they replace it with another letter on ev’s or something?

1st Gear: Options are good. I get that people want all EV’s, but you can’t make people buy something they don’t want. Better to get more full ICE cars off the road quicker with a mix of Hybrid, PHEV and BEV vehicles.

Depending on how much they actually drive, a PHEV would have been a better financial decision. Deprecation on the Prologue is not going to be pretty and if they don’t drive further than the PHEV range between charges, you don’t save any money on gas vs electric. I guess if you really want an EV, but I would bet that

Leasing an EV is the way to go on most of them. You can buy, but you might as well lease one and if you like it buy it at the end of the term for less than residual. Depreciation is really really bad on EV’s right now. I am not a proponent of leasing normally, but if you look at EV, it makes too much sense not to

As long as they don’t go the BMW route and have ridiculously long names, this is a good idea.

It looks like the sleeping platform folds up and down with the 2nd row seats. So, in sleeping position they are not usable, but you can probably put them up when not in sleeping position.

As someone with kids, I cannot say this loud enough. But, fuck that. those things would be broken into pieces in a day, two tops.

Lucid’s have been the king of deprecation for a bit. Even when they were kind of new, they were getting crushed on BAT. $150-180k cars barely breaking $100k on an auction site known for high prices and they were only months old with very low miles with limited availability. They were priced too high from the jump and

Kaiser Darrin or really any Kaiser. There was one in Fallout and my wife asked me what it was. I didn’t know the model, but said, “Uhh, I think it is a Kaiser”. I would pretty proud of myself for that one, even if it took me a few moments to come up with it.

Yea and not a good one if you ask me. But he gets to go to another more established sinking ship.
