I don’t think I am, since I can literally tell you how many cars were registered by every OEM down to a zip code including used car registrations. The OEM isn’t going to report on registrations since their job is done once it is delivered to a dealer, aka they get paid. But plenty of places do have this reporting.

How is this “unexpected”? Toyota and Mazda have had a few joint projects in the past and have signed a few agreements around sharing engine and Hybrid tech and they have a Joint Venture plant here in the US in Huntsville, AL where the CX-50 and Corolla Cross are both built and the CC has a hybrid... Seems very

1st gear: This happens more than people know, but if they were then preferencing inventory based on people fudging numbers, that isn’t good. The problem here is proving that is hard to do as the OEM and regional office have ultimate power on allocations.

Errr, we have registration numbers readily available to us here in the auto industry. I can pull reports of every OEM and their registrations down to a zip code, including used cars.

I mean, it isn’t fraud, but also isn’t always a good indicator of the company and it’s actual value or ability to be a good company.

I guess, but if the end product is making a profit due to being undercharged on a component is it really a profit? Not sure why the battery companies wouldn’t be charging more for the most essential component on an EV.

If the East River is a bit lower elevation, I would bet it is exactly due to the issue in this article. Combined sewer overflow goes right into the East River (I am not sure on this, but assume as much). In Philly it was mostly the Schuylkill that was an issue as the Delaware was much cleaner due to not have waste

Yea and the Bmore harbor is “swimmable” too. But with the small caveat of “only if it hasn’t rained in the past week or so” due exactly to the problem in this article.

Yea, in a 500 mile race with a 78kWh battery you aren’t sniffing a race win against a current car. They would be lucky to only end 10 laps down, but probably more like 50+ down.

So, it isn’t only americans who blame all their problems and issues on others, good to know.

Yea, pretty much every major east coast city has this issue. I know Philly and Bmore do too, and I am sure NYC, Boston and pretty much every other one does. people tend to forget how old even our relatively “new” east coast cities are and all their infrastructure was based on old ass Euro cities since that was what

The just need some “Big Ass Fans” in there!

Yep, at $5k I think this is a good deal, maybe even up to $5,750 or so. But anything more is just a bit too much.

These things are really cool. But not $6.5 kilobucks cool to me. As someone else said, if you get this at or close to $5k I think NP. But if they are firm on the listed price, ND from me.

Now I am wondering if I can get an Indy car through my garages barn doors.

Yea, you are probably right.

Yea, 3 and Y are all over around here. I have seen more Rivian and Lucid’s than S/X Teslas recently.

Yea, I am in Bmore. I see a few S/X models, but very few. 3/Y obviously the most and a CT once in a while.

Yea, I guess that makes sense. I see tons of 3/Y and have seen a few CT’s. But the S/X are exceedingly rare. There are as many CT’s at my kids school as there are S/X, or 1 of each. Unless there is a S in there that I missed. But actually, I think there are two X’s a black one and white one now that I think of it.

It sounds like the approval was dependent on income and when that got turned in, it turned to a “no thanks” from the bank(s).
