Electric boats are too heavy to float. My man needs to go look at cruise and shipping ships. Then read up on buoyancy and displacement, but we know that would be WAY over his head.

Yep, I remember when I first learned about this “loophole”. Nothing I will ever really be able to take advantage of, but nice to know just in case I can someday use it to my benefit.

Yes, and what you said was correct. I guess I was just trying to add to it in that most people just don’t understand how all this stuff works, which you pointed out very well.

I don’t like Elon, but I don’t like wrong statements even more. I say this in every article that quotes a “$56bn payout”. That number is just blatantly wrong. BUT, if he were to monetize his new stock, he wouldn’t sell it. He would do what every other billionaire does.

This is a great way to make it absurdly expensive, this would literally just be, “whoever puts in the most money wins”.

I travel a decent amount for work, so getting a laptop out, setting up my phone or hotspot and connecting it and then opening an excel doc is just a pain. I use it for reference, not for doing actual work in an excel doc. Also nice to be able to open emails side by side or any other program for reference when writing

.03% make it to 300K? My Highlander is about a year, maybe less from that at 288,500 miles as of this AM. I went NP, because $3k for something unique isn’t bad.

Yea, I don’t really know. I was doing the math to compare my wife’s current car with an EV. With all the consumption-based fees and the little she drives along with her current cars MPG efficiency (45 or so) it makes no real sense for her, even though she is the perfect EV use case. She only drives like 12-13 miles a

I have a folding device, it is pretty great. I can write an email while I read an excel doc on the other screen or do a bunch of other things.

Yep, hopefully while Ride the Lightning is playing in the background.

CDK is going to lose a lot of business over this. Whoever took them private a few years ago might be feeling the burn.

Depending on the tournament, you don’t even need to be that good and they are a blast. Me and my cousins do a flounder tournament every year and hopefully someday will enter into the White Marlin Open, albeit not as an “all in” competitor because I don’t have an extra $100k to drop on tourney entry plus a weeklong

I am pretty sure these guys were on the cheating radar before this tourney too, if I remember correctly. They had won a few other tournaments and people were getting suspicious.

These guys should be banned from any future tournaments too. We always joke about stuffing weights in fish but would never really do that. That is some real trash move.

Yep, big tourney’s have a lot of money involved both in prizes and boats/equipment.

I uhhh, don’t know how that “captain” did that. Dude missed the inlet by quite some margin. Also, that is by far the worst name for a beach town of all time, literally no creativity at all.

WE SHOULD NUKE IT IN SPACE!!!!!!

I know, but the fees are on a per kWh basis, so you need to factor those into what it costs to charge your EV at home. Below is a grab from my bill from BGE. So, the supply cost is what they show and the others fees/costs don’t matter on your supply cost. That .09/kWh is only for 6 months, because after I was looking

The flowing bodies of water are your oyster, feel free to call them anything you like!

Not sure about Annapolis (and other places), but since they are BGE as well, there are a lot of other fees that get tacked on to the kWh rate. My effective rate is around .176568/kWh on peak hours and .00047 lower on non-peak from how I read my bill. I am in Baltimore though, so not sure about Annapolis.
