I am pretty sure these guys were on the cheating radar before this tourney too, if I remember correctly. They had won a few other tournaments and people were getting suspicious.

These guys should be banned from any future tournaments too. We always joke about stuffing weights in fish but would never really do that. That is some real trash move.
Yep, big tourney’s have a lot of money involved both in prizes and boats/equipment.
I uhhh, don’t know how that “captain” did that. Dude missed the inlet by quite some margin. Also, that is by far the worst name for a beach town of all time, literally no creativity at all.
WE SHOULD NUKE IT IN SPACE!!!!!!
I know, but the fees are on a per kWh basis, so you need to factor those into what it costs to charge your EV at home. Below is a grab from my bill from BGE. So, the supply cost is what they show and the others fees/costs don’t matter on your supply cost. That .09/kWh is only for 6 months, because after I was looking…
The flowing bodies of water are your oyster, feel free to call them anything you like!
Not sure about Annapolis (and other places), but since they are BGE as well, there are a lot of other fees that get tacked on to the kWh rate. My effective rate is around .176568/kWh on peak hours and .00047 lower on non-peak from how I read my bill. I am in Baltimore though, so not sure about Annapolis.
Yea, I would say that is about my general idea too. But when I was younger I guess what most would call a “stream” I always called a creek. So, when I saw that “creek” I was very confused since where we were it was probably 50+ feet wide and at least waist deep or deeper. According to google maps it is about 95 ft…
Yea, that is BS. Someone above linked to this USGS page, which literally says in other words, “there is no difference as there is no real definition behind any of the names for a flowing water form”.
Just another name for a flowing water form. The definition from MW dictionary is, “a small brook”, which is yet another term for literally any flowing water form since there is no formal definition for any of them.
Here on the East coast that happens too, usually in more rural areas in PA and WV, at least to my knowledge.
I agree with this and I do it semi-frequently. The only pain in the ass is then having to explain it to others. My wife knows though, so that is all that matters and once in a while, I bestow this great piece of information onto others.
Yea, when I found out I was kind of baffled. I assumed there would be like a volumetric flow rate threshold for it to be classified as one or another, but alas. It is whatever you want it to be. I think I looked into this when I was in upstate New York staying beside a “creek” (Esopus Creek) that where I am from would…
Fun fact, there is literally no rhyme or reason why a flowing body of water is called a creek, stream, rill, river or any other term. You can call them whatever you want, although most people have some idea in their mind of what each one is from a size perspective there is not a literal definition to the naming…
Again?
RIP Manuel (1974-2024). He lived a long a fruitful life.
Looks like an updated Virage, which I don’t mind honestly.
You think a full EV version will lose 1.5-2k lbs? You are dreaming, right?
Manuel is gone I guess?
