We have a “new” car that is 10 years old, actually 11 and our “old” car which is now 17 years old. My wife doesn’t drive much so hers doesn’t even have 90k miles on it and mine, well I just hit 287k miles yesterday. No signs of slowing for either, so we are helping those averages go up and will continue to.

I am right there with you. Add to that your “camping” is sitting in what is essentially a trailer park and you kind of lose me pretty quickly. If I wanted to camp, I’ll take a tent and sleep in the woods. If I want to go somewhere, give me a hotel with some amenities or even an Air BnB or VRBO.

I have and I just don’t see it. Like the Gymkahana videos with the EV Audi or whatever, I couldn’t watch more than a few seconds of it, it was just boring. Sure the 5 N is fast and probably fun to drive, but it just sounds boring, like all the rest of the EV’s.

2nd gear: I think this is the biggest issue with exotic and expensive cars. EV’s just don’t have an identity from car to car. Yep, that is how catalytic converters work. People with a license just buy them at a discount from thieves. I guess it disincentivizes theft a little, but not that much.
