I don’t really have a ton of issue with it as stated, the speed cap aprt. But I would mind the hard cap. I drive a decent amount for work and even 10 MPH over a 5 hour highway drive is super nice to have as far as a time saver goes.

They are really going for that argument? Like, really?

So, penalize people that can’t afford new cars even more? We have an ‘07 and ‘13 and neither of us drive crazy or have any real infractions, so why should I pay more for insurance just because some cars are speed capped and ours aren’t?

You are definitely a unicorn when it comes to 5 tire rotation. I don’t do that, but I do winter/summer tires and rotate/replace as needed. But I have an ‘07 with 282k miles, so the stock tires are long long gone.

Take a look at that P/E, there is a ton of downside risk on TSLA from now until who knows when.  It is still at 42, big yikes when you make all your money from building and selling cars.

Yep, buy puts or do some downside spreads for known risk.

Only thing you need to remember when it comes to shorting is this, “The market can stay irrational longer than you can stay liquid.” If you really see downside, buy puts or do some sort of spreads where risk is known. Take it from someone that has lived through some squeeze situations while short, it is not fun.

I don’t think current price for shares would have a ton of influence on him getting any. I see what you are saying, but those types of options or preferred shares or whatever don’t really get released in a way that share price matters. I am pretty sure he was looking to have increased voting rights handed to him, not

Way overvalued, they leaned into the “We are a tech company” idea, as they should have. But now when it comes to earnings they don’t seem to mention their tech or charging or anything else, just the next model cycle. Almost like their only real revenue and profit driver is making and selling cars and that they are

Yep, gotta bump up those CAFE numbers however you can.

So they get a percentage of the ticket, just like I said?

Link or location for the SHO?

What car?

Yea, it seems like there was maybe some reason for those tires. Could have been contract or some performance things (ie. MPGs or something else). But like I said, OEM fitted tires are a crap shoot. Some are good, fine or just not great.

I know they don’t but they still pick the tires that are fitted as OEM recommended tires.

Here in MD I am not sure what the ruling around tossing them is, but I have just paid the couple I have received. Mine were mostly red light cams though and for things like “no right on red”, not actually blowing through a full red light.

I know, that is what I was thinking. The speed cam company that has an incentives to issue tickets throwing them out blows my mind.

I haven’t seen many or any at the Buck though!

They don’t usually do a ton of outside commerce with the “english” folk, but they can and do buy some things, it just kind of depends. Also, not all Amish communities are the same. Since they are all more or less isolated some have more lax rules/guidelines than others.

They are definitely not closed and actually love to do work for us English folk. Most of their commerce is done internally but will buy things and services from outside if needed.
