I think every Jalopnik post with/about Chris Harris starts with "Chris Harris is a lucky, lucky man."

Let me tell you something. I’ve worked for two different dealerships, and I’ve worked in sales operations at a corporate level for a major automaker. If I found out that a dealer wasn’t allowing test drives on a car that cost the same as a base 3 Series, I would be absolutely livid.
Lots of us have worked in sales. Because of that we realize that people don’t want to buy your product when you treat them like children. Test drives are generally less than 20 miles. If it takes you 30 potential customers to sell a Golf R (using your 600 mile example), then you suck at selling cars. Give a test…
Not to toot my own horn too much... But, yeah, know your stuff. After about the third word out of my mouth the salesmen turn their pitch off and just let me check out and drive the car. As an attorney who spends 100% of his free time with cars, I must be either their dream, or nightmare, customer.
Walk in with mad stacks.
Be serious. If you're a serious buyer, schedule the test drive and show up on time, well dressed and ready for business. And remember you don't OWE THEM SHIT. you can always take your business elsewhere. - 20 something year old who just bought his first new car. I feel your pain
If you want to see the edge of civilization without going to the desert, look no further than Southern Louisiana.…
Even with half that many miles a 2002 986S is not worth that much. Then somebody put that crappy body kit on it and really ruined it.
Now if it was a low mileage 03 or 04 and especially if it had an updated IMS bearing installed then it would be a Nice Price indeed.
If that car is actually a Boxster S, then whomever modified it SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED, and if it isn’t an S, but being portrayed as one, then the assertion still stands.
Here’s another with HALF the mileage, for a bit less.
Trying to sell your tacked-on spoiler as part of a “rare” “Factory Sport Package” makes you sound like a bullshiter. Especially when it looks like this:
every life is a unique journey, your time will come
cant wait for this to come out. lets see how deep they go with the anti-cyborg movement.
I love the art direction of these games!! I’m not a real religious person but I really dig all the suttle symbolism!
But Pontiac air vents are fun!
Now if NASCAR would only address its race problem.
It is a sport known for turning left.
It's like the Jalop staffers have no idea!
Love the TG guys. Even unemployed, they remain heroes to middle-aged, overweight, obnoxious car guys (like me) across the world.
