Ugh, he made an illustration for Legacy of the Wizard, which is my favorite NES game, but money's a bit tight right now and it's really not his best work...

I agree, except that almost every issue tackled by videogames is done in a hamfisted manner and, while we should expect them to do a better job, we shouldn't hold our breath.

Did you watch the video? Can you give an alternate perspective on the distinction he makes? Does adherence to Social Darwinism, when taken to its ultimate conclusion, not lead to disregard for human life?

I'd say with Dark Souls there are two big things you can do to make it easier. #1 is to allow yourself to camp & grind/farm souls for a few hours in the Undead Burg just so you get some techniques down & your level up.

I probably talk about Vanquish too much around here, but that's because it really impressed the hell out of me. It took the basic Gears of War formula and shot steroids straight into its testicles.
