"them's the breaks." Get it?! Yeah I'm stuck down in Blighttown on Dark Souls and wishing I'd shelled out for the equipment repair kit. At least that game changes the merchant dynamic up a little.

"You may not want to watch it for very long"

My wife hates watching me play Dark Souls, which is weird 'cause I used to happily watch hours of Demon's Souls walkthroughs (while contemplating buying a PS3). I'm guessing it's 'cause I die constantly, while the folks taping DS walkthroughs were kicking the games ass pretty efficiently.

I hope he just pulled that out of his butt. One more reason why "these calls may be monitored for quality assurance."

Microsoft and creating intuitive interfaces: never the twain shall meet.

Oh, and Explosionade was a blast.

I'm still playing the heck out of games like Apple Jack, Soulcaster, and Fireball. Oh, and the Platformance games are crazy-good. Xbox Indies are the best couple bucks I've spent on DLs.

I'm a lefty, but after years and years of using the family computer in the living room for everything as a kid I can't imagine working the mouse with my left hand. Maybe I should try it. I also play guitar right-handed because all I ever got, instrument-wise, was garbage pickings or hand-me-downs. Ah, the joys of

Uneducated people can always become

You've got valid points, but I'd be willing to wager that if you grew up looking at these they'd be ingrained in your heart. We're just too jaded now to really attach to stuff like this, which is probably a good thing (for our wallets, at least).

Not you, Fahey. You're the shit. It helps that we have similar tastes (minus the MMOs).

I don't get what yer referring to... oh, did you mean to reply to MF?

"Unengaged, uneducated parents contribute to some of our societal problems like obesity and bullying," he should have said.

Keep kicking ass, Totilo, and welcome, new contributors! (I kind of wish you'd bump a certain someone off the roster who I won't name — we all have our least favorite Kotaku writer. Let's just say he can't manage to get through a post without mangling the English language or failing to make a decent argument, if

I participated in the 2010 Global Game Jam (in Detroit), and both my teams failed to produce anything playable (I was only doing sound design). It was a lot of fun regardless. I hope I can participate in something like this again... and maybe actually make a game.

Now that's how you brand: Some great, minimalist design with some thought behind it. The wireframe style really brings modern aesthetics together with Sega's 1980s video game heritage. & it's not a 90 degree shift — the blue and the font are still present.

You're not using "person" interchangeably with "member," are you?
