“When are you gonna have another one?” Dude, the baby’s not even a year old yet. With the lack of sleep and constant shitty diapers, you think we’re considering another one already?

Some people feel they need to make up for other shortcomings in their life. And then there’s those guys who go online to really let you know how tiny it is.

*looks right and left*
Coppertone for babies is excellent, so is Aveeno sunscreen for babies, and Neutrogena has a good one too - they all use physical blockers, like zinc oxide (same stuff in diaper rash cream - good for baby’s skin). I am a melanoma survivor, and my older son is the palest kid in the world and we are both allergic to…
We used Blue Lizard for our ghost child since we discovered it (~age 10). LOVE it. A few notes about Blue Lizard: 1. It is *thick*. This is great for kids because you can see where you applied, it’s very waterproof, and it lasts a long time. 2. The company will never list sunscreen higher than SPF 30, but it worked…
Regardless of brands, look for ones that are sun blockers (zinc or titanium) rather than sun screens since baby skin is so sensitive. Also, echoing the other commenter who said to use sticks (especially for baby faces) rather than lotions.
That’s my go-to as well. I’m super fair and I need something that’s high SPF and won’t rub off. Coppertone Sport is easy to apply, doesn’t rub off and keeps me burn free even in Florida as long as I re-apply every two hours. I love how it doesn’t feel greasy or smelly. For my face I like Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer liquid…
I bought the Babyganics brand. I mostly use it on my son’s arms and legs. For his face/neck, we use a hat from Flap Happy. Cannot recommend their hats enough, they are awesome!
Oh, they might not know. But the graphic designer they hired, who has now fled with their money, knew full well what he/she’s doing.
Pink is not blood, it’s myoglobin. When center of the chicken is at 140F it is safe to eat after 36 minutes*, at 145F, it’s only 12 minutes. At 165F instantly.
The issue with cash is change. Why do I want a bunch of nickels and dimes and pennies in my wallet?
Who? Tons of people.
I use my credit card for everything! It’s easy to use and I’m earning points. I only ever use my debit card to withdraw cash at the ATM (and because I use my credit card for everything I don’t go through much cash).
Valid point. I fully admit my writing above is purely anecdotal. I am not a scientist and I did not stay at Holiday Inn Express last night.
Except in cases where you’re required to by an HOA, care about your property values, or care about your relationship with your neighbors.
there’s a video interview that helps at the CBS link above. basically i think they were intending to run the classical version of this scam, where the mark isn’t donating the ‘heiress’s’ money, but depositing it in a bank or holding on to it for a while and then getting a cut as a reward, and the mark has to hand over…
I’m still failing to see how any of this required her to go to her house and hand them her money.
found a bottle (no-ad) under the bathroom cabinet that expired in 2009, figured id use it anyway. it works.
Food is always welcome! Just don’t use the casserole as your ticket to monopolize the parents’ and baby’s time. Drop it off, peek at the baby, don’t wake it up, and then get the hell out of there.
I love this article.
