Maybe I’m just becoming jaded with age, but my knee-jerk response to seeing the meltdown on Twitter this morning was “okay, just wait a few weeks and order one...”. That was when I realized I’m becoming an adult and immediately hated myself.

Dang, I didn’t realize there was that much demand for this. It’s beautiful yes, but expensive, just to use carts whose internal save batteries are probably expired by now (or maybe I just have a crappy copy of Golden Sun: The Lost Age). I mean I’m perfectly happy with my GBA SP, but damn those sleek looking things

Yes, the lead engineer (he goes by Kevtris on forums) reverse engineers the old systems. So, like the GBA games in this new system will not use the BIOS files some emulators make you find on your own. And you supply your own official game cartridges so you aren’t downloading or using ROM files.

The heat death of the universe will come out before Star Citizen at this rate.

Joke about keycards, masterful

So it’ll come out before Star Citizen does is what I’m getting.

The Two Guys from Andromeda were my heroes as a kid.

Looks like the humor is intact

Point and click lover here, Roger Wilco and the Time Rippers is my all time fave... Though I also enjoyed the rest of the SQ series, and ST Judgement Rites, and 25th Anniv, The DIG. I have high hopes for this... but the 3d bothers me. I grow to like the SQ 6 Aesthetic, but I think this is a little weird.

always bugs me when I put the number of years since the game was kickstarted into the headline and forget that development actually started in 2010-11.

This statement from SE tells us less than nothing. I still expect 2023 for Part 2 at the earliest. Streamlined development has never been SquareEnix’s forte even back when they were still Square and Enix.

I need to stop being bitter over it, but, I see it: I recognize their passion and devotion to this project. Now, if they were to uphold such endeavors for a FF6 “Remake” Square may...just may successfully eliminate my cynicism towards them.

Here’s a rule of thumb: Complex problems do not have simple solutions, at least not ones that are also, you know, good.

Forget Midwest and the “coastal elites” — this is a Pennsylvania problem too, which is a near must-win for Biden:

Yeah I wouldn’t go on the warpath against fracking, its been one of the few bright-spots in the economy for the Midwest. The perception rightly or wrongly would be that “a bunch of coastal liberals want to kick the legs out from under our struggling communities”.

“In war, everyone loses.  But maybe you can lose the least.”

I think the series will be better if they condense it to 30minute episodes, like the original Twilight Zone seasons. In fact, I think it was season 3 or 4 of TZ that were 1-hr episodes and they simply didn’t hold up as well as the other seasons.

Can anyone weigh in on the messaging?  It’s touched on regarding one episode above, but how about the rest of S2?  I got really really tired of getting punched in the face with messaging over and over in S1, and would rather not relive those blows all over again, regardless of “quality” of show.  I’d just like some

So, this season is all about problematic men, while simultaneously many of its episodes aren’t about problematic men. Thanks for that.
