The good thing about the culture shift since this show is that nowadays, Zach and Slater would likely be the villains in a series. And despite his status as the “geek” in the bunch, Screech was actually kind of an asshole (in the series - IRL, another dimension of asshole entirely).

I was thinking that with KSP2 announced, Squad would quietly wrap up KSP1 and move on. Then I saw on their youtube that they just announced a bunch of new hi-res texture packs for Minmus and the Mun (and I mean, these are really substantial improvements).  Sounds like they’re going nowhere.

After several dozen hours of game play, my greatest Kerbal Achieve is smashing full speed into the Mun. I screenshotted it said I'll never do better.

My first experience was 0.8 or 0.9. I remember that my first Mun landing colony set down on tailfins rather than landing gear because landing gear didn’t exist and therefore tailfins were the only part long enough to touch the ground before you impacted your engine. Of course I didn’t have enough fuel to get home but…

I paid $14 to get into the alpha years ago, and I’ve spent over 2000 hours in it. That’s less than a penny PER HOUR.

I’m sorry, everything is secondary to KSP2. My mind has been blown.

I’m watching the “Developer Story” trailer and it seems like Squad are involved, mainly as Producers. Looks like a new studio, Star Theory, was created to lead development.

You aren’t alone, Broccoli! I love that movie and always have. I saw it on my tenth birthday and loved every single hammy second of it. It didn’t bother me at all that it wasn’t a 1/1 reproduction of the game because—honestly—I could tell that it wasn’t going to be from the commercials.
