It’s a pretty good story, but the nemesis system writes a story all on it’s own. Try not to think of it as either / or.

I played it as a kid. I rented a PC game ha! Yeah, I didn’t understand much if any of it, but I would watch as you flew around Dune. Like a lot of things, the mystery of what’s going on was pretty cool. Didn’t see the movie until 10 years later.
