Meowth has the Pickup ability. I toss a pickup pokemon in my #6 slot and he was the first to have it. He just finds things as you travel and puts him in his inventory. You have to remember to check him every so often. He’s kinda weak, which helps once you become leveled over the pokemon in the area.
