Aston Martin + Manual = Drool.
Aston Martin + Manual = Drool.
Somehow the F70 doesn't look as fast as the P1.
People are so stupid and crazy.
And some people think you need a massive truck to do stuff like that. It's amazing what small cars can do, they're so underestimated.
Good car, but with that interior I would never buy it. Ugh.
Not in the EU. Diesel and petrol cost aobut the same, and diesel cars are made and sold in much larger numbers so they cost only a bit more than their petrol counterparts, yet regularly deliver more than 15 mpg ove the aforementioned petrol cars.
I'd love to tell you you're wrong, and that all these electronic toys are great, but I'm 18 and I find a lot of them confusing to use, and I honestly would rather have a manual gearbox, a real handbrake, and a few knobs and buttons. The electronics that work int he background, making the engine, transmission,…
What's happening here is pretty predictable. The mechanical bits of cars are getting steadily more reliable, and that's to be expected. However, as technology becomes cheaper, more ubiquitous, and ultimately a greater part of our lives, automakers are trying to put as much of it as possible in their cars. It's a major…
Well you know what AML? You diss them right back! That'll show them!
Well, if I'm going to die, may as well go out at 100 MPH in a big fireball in a 991 GT3. Sideways. Grinning from ear to ear.
Oh, I'm fully aware of how screwed up the AMerican political system is.
The American free market at work. If you've got money, it seems you can just bribe the right people and get rid of your competition. And isn't the Republican party supposed to be about less government regulations on business?
Right. I'm sorry, I thought we were talking about the current one as that's what the article's about.
Are you talking about the next gen civic? Because both this concept and that camo'd prototype are not next gen.
That bodystyle has been for sale here since 2011. It's not destined for America.
The new one? I won't believe that the production version of this concept will be sold in NA until I see proof. I just don't believe it. The next generation, on the other hand, I'd be willing to believe.
Well, I don't have a car to bet you, but I'd call your bet it if I had one. As great as it would be, the bureaucrats won't allow it.
If I could, I would bet you £50 that it won't be sold in America. I'm that sure that they won't take it over. I think it would be great if they did, don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be mean, but even if it is legal I really doubt that they would. The fact is that this Civic is completely different than the North…
Just because the platform is legal doesn't mean the car is legal. There's the question of all those little things, like the placement of headlights and taillights, mirrors, bumpers, and whatever other stuff they come up with. I'm not saying it's not legal, just that it wasn't designed to be so it probably isn't.
Naturally. I can see where something shaped like this, minus the fire, would be faisble, but I've never really bought into the idea of a spacecraft designed for long distance travel that is made of bits connected by tubes. I'd imagine it to be much more cohesive, one large form rather than a series of separate ones.…
