Very true. I don't think any of us know what society will be doing in 500 years, let alone what the spaceships will look like.

That's not strictly true. Spaceships only look like anything in sciience fiction, in reality they have to be very carefully engineered, and look pretty recognisable when designed to enter the atmosphere. But the point is that it looks cool and sci-fi-esque, ans so do spaceships, so I totally get the article title.

I've not been to many, but the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg museum in Auburn, Indiana, is truly incredible. I'll always remember it, from the amazing unique concepts by Gordon Buehrig, to the 1930s style showroom full of Auburns, Cords, and Duesenbergs, to the 300SL, Cisitalia, E-Type, and other notable classics, to the

Lets save American jobs! But only if they're non unionised, otherwise it's socialism.

She's GM's new CEO, and that doesn't really say much to me. She gets no points with me because shes a woman, because I frankly believe that women should be professionally treated just like men. Call me sexist all you like, but I think men and women are equal. Period. Now, I think that she should be paid some standard

Yet another reason to buy an old car. As if you needed an excuse. You know you want to!

Always forgotten: Walter Hassan. He helped develop the legendary Jaguar XK engine which was used from 1948 to 1986. He also helped in the design of the Coventry Climax FW and FP engines, which helped take Jim Clark to his world championship, as well as seeing use in numerous Lotus race and street cars. Hassan then

Yes, you do. But I'd imagine that the average American car is automatic, while we almost all drive manuals. Manual feels faster than a poor automatic, yes? Is your car manual? I'd imagine that it's one of the 690 manual coupes imported to the USA. I doubt that you'd think that the manual 525d feels so much slower

Police are searching for a man who needs to urinate every 2 minutes.

I find it hard to compare a Buick LeSabre to a BMW 5 series. Speed is as much sensation as anything, and I'm quite sure that the BMW would feel much quicker given that it has a better gearbox, better and more performance tuned suspension, and a much sportier general feel.

Of course they aren't. But they prove that it's not impossible to go quickly in a small car with not very much power.

Your car, which most people consider at the very least to be quick, will do it in 5 seconds. 7 seconds? I'd say that's still pretty quick.

That's quite a perspective. What kind of car do you drive, then?

Jaguar Land Rover design their cars in Coventry. Rolls Royces are designed in Goodwood.

No, it was our RAF that temporarily halted Germany's advance throughout Europe by damaging the Luftwaffe. And than Hitler decided to invade Russia, crippling his army. Nearly 2/3s of German casualties were on the eastern front. If Hitler had captured Britain, there would have been no place to launch a massive

Thing is, though, a 3 series BMW is one of the best selling cars in Britain. Better selling than a Mondeo, which is basically our ubiquitous large family car. BMWs cost less here because they're closer to the source, have smaller engines, and are sold in higher numbers. I can get a Jaguar XF for under 30 grand that

Well, partly because I was feeling bored and a bit insecure at the moment, but partly because I genuinely don't like American culture.

In the end, a smaller engine makes a lot fewer emissions.

I didn't bring up the wars.

Did your country even exist back then? That was 700 years ago.
