I have to wonder if maybe the reason there are few stores who will let you try things is because too many people did what you are doing, and it cost them too much.

Or you could, like, you know, drive like an f'ing adult and obey the traffic laws. Then you wouldn't have to worry about whether that car behind you is a cop.

Yeah, it never would have occurred to me to buy several, knowing I'm going to return some of them. Seems unethical to me, if not downright dishonest, and, as you mentioned, other customers have to absorb the added cost of higher product return rates. So at the very least, it's inconsiderate.

Actually, you're right. It was water and baking soda. The vinegar/baking soda mix was for a coke bottle cannon.

For us when I was growing up it was a paste of baking soda and vinegar. I read somewhere that toothpaste was one of the best pain relievers for bee stings. Never tried it.

I wouldn't recomment Kayak. The site has nice features, but I've never gotten low prices there, compared to Travelocity, Expedia, or Priceline.
