I thought the rescue sequence was extremely affecting and I'm glad they fleshed it out. It had a definite pulse-quickening Zero Dark Thirty aspect to it that I loved.
Personally I liked Mockingjay. But regardless, a lot of the above can be said for many books in final series. Definitely for Allegiant, which I hated. A few of those can be said of Return of the King and Deathly Hallows, too, though.
