I like this duo better.
Spacey was initially held to the $31 million because MRC argued that his sexual misconduct caused the production company serious financial loss, as House Of Cards had to scrap the entire final season and start from scratch
Right but this is all publicly available information. All these flight records are published elsewhere.
scrap. . . multiple apparent spin-offs
Just as a disclaimer, I dont own an Xbox or Playstation, so I dont really have a horse in this “race”, but I think that it can be useful to consider reasons why you might see this kind of brand loyalty with xbox/playstation fans.
A games console is a big investment. Most people have to make a very considered decision…
I was always of the understanding that the long term plan from Microsoft, (and Sony for that matter), was streaming services, not consoles.
What’s shitty is people like this distract from the fact that the move could kill the Xbox in the console market where people could lose thousands of dollars worth of paid content, which in my opinion is totally understandable.
That’s certainly one way to tell us you’ve never read Orwell.
this might be the most evil thing she’s ever done, just blatantly weaponizing social justice language in order to obfuscate the fact that she’s a climate criminal and someone is holding her accountable.
Arrested development? I could go on a tirade about end stage capitalism commodifying, literally ripping out, packaging, and shipping, every aspect of human life back to us, but this is Kotaku so I don’t have to. I'd just be preaching to the choir.
Xbox rose from the ashes of the Dreamcast. This is the first volley of Microsoft going all-software. They’re on a Sega trajectory.
You’re a lot better at branding than Microsoft.
The Last of Us, Uncharted, Spider-Man, Ratchet and Clank, God of War, Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn... all former Playstation exclusives, are all on PC now. They’re already doing that.
That’s my point. This is the sort of shit we argued about as *children*. How do grown adults find themselves having these same arguments with no sense of embarrassment?
This all just reminds me of elementary school. We would have very passionate debates about SNES vs Genesis and then go play on the swings.
“This is truly the Xbox apocalypse”
I used to think this too but...nah, I do think “fandom” as it is used and exists today is inherently toxic. I’m a fan of Final Fantasy, love the games and pretty much buy every new one, but I would hesitate to say I’m in the “Final Fantasy Fandom” because to me that means a much bigger emotional buy-in than I actually…
“We’ve been fighting this war for nothing.”
Oh hey, it’s today’s reminder that fandom is inherently toxic.
