No. Nope nope nope. Being critical of Israel’s brutal colonialism is NOT the same as being anti-semitic. It’s bullshit. They’re fucking horrific people no matter where they’re from. This is insanity.

That’s all part of the upside-downism of far right Israeli fascism.

Israel funding Hamas to try to drive a wedge with Fatah has been well documented for years: https://www.timesofisrael.com/for-years-netanyahu-propped-up-hamas-now-its-blown-up-in-our-faces

Perception becomes reality.

So calling out a government that has ministers who have legitimately advocated dropping a nuclear bomb on civilians, and demanded the complete eradication of a people is anti-semitic now? One of the Israeli ministers had his pregnant wife removed from a maternal ward because there was a Palestinian woman there as

The John Oliver segment is honestly worth checking out. Just if anyone’s looking for a good, clear, quick break down of things.

Israel did fund Hamas, Bibi has openly talked about this, and has been documented.

Wow. I’d pretty much already written this off after they replaced the creative team from 5 and 6 with a hack, but apparently they don’t want *anyone* to actually watch the next one.

The ones I read seem like pretty normal, measured statements.

So she was fired for pointing out that Israel’s government is pretty freaking evil themselves and that the human toll on both sides is awful?

Those grabs from twitter don’t seem that horrible. At least not out of line from what I’ve seen from other celebrities or social media icons.

After watching Ahsoka......I got a baaaad feeling about this

Should be fine. He’s a good “big picture” guy and ideas guy. Just don’t let him write individual scripts by himself. For as much as I liked Ahsoka, pretty much any valid critique of it came down to Filoni’s writing was too weak. He needs better writers to take his ideas and SW knowledge and run with it.

I’m not exactly sure why you felt the need for such a hostile response.

There’s also Professor X and Daredevil.

LOL. I was tired of waiting for a patch and literally just finished the game last night. Oh, well. It doesn’t look like they fixed the broken “Powers from Beyond” quest anyway, which was my big bugaboo.

This take is crazy. Imagine thinking that being a CEO earning millions and legally immune to any consequences is more stressful than being a waitress or janitor or teacher.

The problem with Capitalism is that it privatizes profits, but socializes risk.

Now playing

its such nonsense. Repeated studies by Harvard Business School have shown that CEOs are largely overpaid, either by company performance, or return of value to shareholders. The board has to ok those contracts. CEOs and other rich guys all sit on each others boards. They all go to the same cadre of undergrad schools, b

Because they actually succeed at their main task. Yeah the company is in a bad state, but they do these cuts in the companies so that the shareholders can get their money, and that’s their main job after all most of the time CEOs are appointed by shareholders.
