The book, “Dune” is a standard Campbell hero’s journey that deals with colonialism.

Having dumped a ridiculous (ridiculously ridiculous) number of hours into Pacific Drive, I can’t shake the feeling that this game is going to catch a ton of people by surprise the way Hades did way back when.

Also, it’s the most emo superhero movie to ever emo. There’s a casual sincerity to the writing that’s kind of disorienting and really thrilled me as a kid.

I will forever be confused about tv adaptions of anything (games, books etc) not following the original plot, given that the reason (usually) the tv adaption is being made in the first place is due to the widespread popularity of the original plot.
