But I’m not sure how Scorsese “missed the mark” because the story isn’t told from the perspective you wanted. Not that he’s immune from criticism, but it sounds like he hit the mark he was aiming for according to a lot of people.

Wow, did you really come here just to air your grievances about people who worked on a movie having constructive criticism about that movie, which you yourself have never seen?
After watching Parks and Recreation starting with Season 2, it is genuinely hard to try and care about The Office in any season.
Even Kim Cattrall showed up in “And Just Like That...”
Reneesmee?
It’s definitely the Akira slide (there’s even the small detail of her trying to use her foot as a brake). And that’s definitely the joke.
After this week when the former Prime Minister of Israel Naftali Bennett attacked a British reporter in a five minute tirade for mentioning Palestinian civilians, the Israeli President admitted they’re bombing evacuation routes and not letting Gazans leave, and the Israeli Ambassador to the US said he doesn’t care…
Look at the end of the day play however you want to play, but I see so many people complaining how boring the game is and then when you hear how they play, they’ve made it boring for themselves by doing the most mundane things to rack up XP.
They should probably also hire writers instead of coders with free time.
There’s no need to grind because there are tons of unique quests to do that give plenty of XP.
“What’s the deal with airplane hijackings — like this one! Now put on the oversized collared shirts or I crash this f*cker into the ground!”
They need to keep him around so consumers maintain faith in the company...BWHAHAAHAHAH
It’s weird that it took me a while to figure out what you were trying to say. Then I realized it’s just normal that I had no idea what you were implying. LOL
I knocked Minthara unconscious on my first playthrough, so somewhere out in the wild there was a naked Drow bard fleeing back to Menzoberranzan.
The problem is... the show is good and has been for years. It’s probably even great now and has taken some of the most insightful political opinions I’ve seen a mainstream show take — and I’m left anarchist so I have really strong opinions about political opinions.
It’s a subtle difference, but it’s definitely a sign of the basest sense of maturity. They did learn and they did change. Just not a lot and not toward their obvious polar opposite.
The best critique of South Park and one that’s come the closest to explaining why it rubs me the wrong way is that they always take the side of “not caring”. The end result is always that caring about anything is dumb and “both sides” are bad if either of them actually care.
Cartman was maybe the avatar of social media 10 years ago. Now I just don’t think South Park is as relevant as it used to be.
Superman never works in movies because the writers try to treat Superman like DC Comics WANT people to think Superman is instead of how Superman actually is. The best example of this is All-Star Superman, which is a solidly fun read but a solidly terrible narrative that tells us absolutely nothing about Superman/Clark…
She was great in All the Boys Love Mandy Lane and Drive Angry. She just has one type she can play.
