Movie Anakin is the baby fascist mass murderer who hates everybody and thinks he’s entitled to power that would believably kill more people and demand more power. It’s a consistent portrayal across the last two movies.
The Last of Us Part 1 is a 15 hour game. The Last of Us Part 2 is a 30 hour game. They cut some of what they wanted for The Last of Us Part 2, so I can see them stretching it out. I can also see them trying to wrap it up with a final fourth season that hits the main beats of what would go into the final game.
1. Gina Carano’s a huge transphobe.
Rebecca Ferguson is 40 years old. Abby is a couple years older than Ellie.
The reviewer just lists a bunch of things they like and none they don’t. It’s not hard to see their opinion. Also this is in the second paragraph:
First, not your place to heal past wrongs.

I am 75 hours in and at act 3 also. Kind of a sledgehammer to the face, though, when the game suddenly flips the table on you and goes, “Here’s all the stuff you screwed up while you were off trying to be awesome!”
Reminds me of the old school Baldur’s Gate. There’s a morality meter because it was the 90's, but the meter was barely noticeable other than with regard to your class and team relationships and how much things cost.
It’s Elder Scrolls in space. Faction system gets in the way of completionism.
Transformers wasn’t a flop, Mission Impossible flopped because of two extra years of budgets due to covid, and The Little Mermaid is not a flop and actually did on par with the other live action disney remakes when you consider how crap the box office for the animated movie originally was.
No Way Home is certified fresh and makes 2 billion dollars: “Is this a sign the MCU is recovering from superhero fatigue?”
This is how entertainment works these days. The journalists got smarter and more eloquent in their critiques of media, so the people the original backwards and regressive media pandered too got angrier and more skeptical of eloquent media critiques.
That is, unless we start to utilize AI-produced assets, but as we’ve seen over the last year, the outrage is strong in opposition of this option, deserved or not. AI assistance could drop the threshold and time commitment for high-quality game production by a significant margin.
It’s not even astonishing anymore how little gamers know or even want to know about how games are made.
You’re not doing the whataboutism properly, my friend. The real what about is all the money the US government and by extension all its citizens already give the crown prince. You drive a car, guess what you support Saudi Arabia. Hell, if you pay taxes in a western country you are likely supporting Saudi Arabia.
I played it for a bit, thought it was fun, then kind of stopped playing games for a month and didn’t start again until BG3.
