Someone got married at or near Laguna Seca this Saturday and had group photos taken at the Corkscrew. I was kindly asked to move for a brief moment so they could take a few photos. I think it was during the Prototype Challenge qualifying.

I have day dreams of starting my own "shed built sports car company" one of these days. Anyone want to be a capital invertor?
Or if you have a basic slow cooker and a vacuum sealer already you could rig up a temperature controler for it for about 40 bucks.
here is my sure fire way to great fish, especially salmon. Preheat oven to say 400 and get a pan (not a non stick!) over high heat. Get your throughly thawed and dryed filet; season with salt and pepper and a light dusting of flour. Once the pan is screaming hot, add a high smoke point oil, like canola or peanut, not…
I think it is important to thoroughly thaw and especially dry your fish before cooking. With a ripping hot pan I get restaurant quality dishes out of frozen fish.
I agree I really like that one a lot, as with the Hop Hunter I was a little underwhelmed in a similar way Will was.
I was probably about 9 when I played it, I remember figuring out you could use the second controller to let go of some oil to trick the destroyers into thinking they had sunk you. Blew my mind! I also really like 688 the modern sub sim on the genesis also. I think I rented that one a lot from Blockbuster or something.…
I loved Silent Service! Probably one of my favorite NES games at the time, I had forgotten about it until you mentioned it. A next gen Sub/Naval game would be fantastic I think.
Lagunitas Daytime is an excellent Session IPA
As a local a race at Laguna would be amazing!
No way! The camera on my '14 pilot is so very needed. I cant see for shit out the back of that thing through the mirrors. With the camera it is incredibly easy to parallel park and I can hook up our travel trailer to the hitch without needing an extra set of eyes.
Just a small quip, as I love everything else about this car. Why is there only a roll bar over the drivers seat? Does he not care that much about the passengers? Is the 1 bar enough?
Yeah that was rather dull compared to some of the other action this year. The move on Vettel referenced above takes it for me. That was one of the best moves I have seen in a long time.
Ha Ha! I just bought one of these for this very reason! My wife will not drive a minivan and a wagon was out of the question.
Thanks I should have probably read the art before posting. Sounds like a good opportunity for Nico and Le Mans should be interesting this year
I saw a headline pop up that Nico Hulkenberg is headed to Porsche to race in Le Mans next year. So there another seat open there. I hope Jean-Eric lands a ride he is too talented not too.
True story...Monterey Car week this year; one of my most vivid memories is sitting at the red light after taking the Laureles Grade from Carmel Valley Road over to the 68 outside of Laguna Seca. This Spitfire makes a right turn from the highway to the grade at speed, and the way the car and the driver perfectly hit…
