Basically you'll look like you have pubes from the front, everything below and behind is gone.

Just said nearly the same thing downthread. I shave as well, and have shaved like this for as long as I can remember. But going into a salon and asking to be waxed this way has earned me a lot of strange stares.
Ok, this is actually how I've groomed for years, meaning shaving {not something to be rushed through, by the way}. The few times I've gotten a bikini wax, it is SO HARD to describe this without having someone look at you like you're a freak. Either they've never heard of such a thing or they look at you like "why are…
I suppose you can look at it that way. I see it more as we were given a glimpse at the beginning of a whole new story at the finale. That is moving forward. :)
Ok, "rule" is a little strong, but I stand by the sentiment. I think there are a few widely accepted successes — Breaking Bad and Six Feet Under spring to mind — but I know many people who didn't like even the "good" finales you mentioned. If you're really invested in a show, you'll inevitably have your own opinions…
Did you watch the episode "Vesuvius"? Because that was your mourning Ted right there, only before Tracy died. And to me, at least, it was heart-wrenching and beautifully done. It also made sure to add in her blessing for him to move on, to not "live in his stories" and to move forward. I was sobbing like a little baby…
And that she died saving ANDREW of all people. Poor Anya. I just watched the series all the way through for the first time since it went off the air. Early 20s me was annoyed by Anya, early 30s me finds her delightful.
I know! I loved the hair and the spectacles.
"Salt? So bourgeois."
"I know you're upset, but before you say anything, I think you should read Baudelaire's Le Fleur du Mal."
"Whatever. At least the cock suckers got a damn ending."
That's actually kind of brilliant.
Karen, is that you?
Maybe it's because I was obsessed with the idea of the mother's death theories, but ever since that episode with Ted's "45 Days" speech last season, I've been assuming that's what would go down. I feel like this season was actually a little heavy handed at times with the hints — just about every flash forward of Ted…
YES YES YES YES YES on Six Feet Under.
Breaking Bad was amazing, but the Six Feet Under finale was the BEST OF ALL TIME.
It was also the reason things didn't work out with Victoria.
I don't think his relationship with the mother was diminished at all. They were together for TEN YEARS. He had mourned her for SIX. Staying alone for the rest of his life wouldn't honor the relationship he had with Tracy any more. She actually wanted him to move on. Or at least that was what I got from the "I'm…
That's funny, 'cause to this day I kind of feel like Normal Again should have been the series finale...
I was so holding out hope they'd address the fucking pineapple! Grrr.
