Samwell's entire purpose is to make me wish he was Samwise. That's it. I miss Sean Astin.

I now feel the need to go track down Deadwood on Netflix/Amazon/What-have-you.

Holy hell, I miss having a dishwasher. Pardon me while I douse my entire kitchen in bleach.

Wait, are they in a cult because they don't have a dishwasher? Because many, many older apartments and houses don't have them. I haven't had a dishwasher in six years. Miss it every damn day.

I want to watch your movie, please.

My dad's wife is in the habit of posting insanely un-researched and inflammatory political statements on Facebook regarding welfare recipients, and her go-to rant is that if someone can afford "drugs, alcohol, the latest cellphones, and tattoos" her hard-earned money shouldn't have to go to them. How tattoos got

I like your version of a 360 though. :)

I put one in the fridge yesterday for a few hours before I ate it. It made the insides much more solid and less-messy to eat. I must also say, however, that it wasn't nearly as enjoyable. The sticky mess is part of the charm to me, apparently.

It was in a quote though; we can't blame this particular one on Gawker.

Perfection.

They took him snipe hunting. I watched it on Netflix the other day. :)

Because the world is a very, very unfair place.

Hear, hear!

I'll have to look that up. Nyquil knocks me out, but leaves me pretty groggy up to around 12 hours after. Which again, I work from home, but I would like to be a LITTLE productive.

I actually had a Dr. put me on Trazodone before when I was sleepless to the point of severe anxiety (she put me on it as a precautionary measure then sent me to a therapist). It worked wonders and seemed to solve the anxiety as well, but she didn't want to keep me on it long term. I really don't want to go back to a

Anyone have any favorite over-the-counter sleep aids? I've got some crazy insomniac problems (which, granted, are first world problems considering I work from home) and I'd love to know if anyone's found anything that works superbly for them. Tylenol PM, Unisom, and the like make me jumpy as hell. Like, fall asleep

Oh, this makes me sad. And also very eager to hear details...

I started one of Handler's earlier memoirs and got a bit bored and distracted. It wasn't either of the more popular ones though, I still need to give those a try. BossyPants is by far my favorite memoir in recent history. Kaling's was good, though not as good as Fey's. I was honestly not impressed at all with Rachel

I really liked Kaling's first book. Not quite BossyPants level, but an awesome read all the same. But didn't Jez already promise me that Amy Poehler was writing my new favorite book? I reserve the right to read that one before this one usurps it.

That's freaking adorable, and I envy you. I wish I had lovely memories like that of my dad. Instead I have a father who spent my childhood criticizing every TV show I watched or book I read, saying "why does EVERYTHING have to have a token black or gay character in it?" He also loved to hurl insults like "women's
