I had an amazingly horrible cough twice back in 1979 and again in 1980. To the point of wretching, the whites of my eyes were cherry red, and I would grab my head and moan from the pain every time I coughed. I went to the doctor and he gave me a script for “Hycomine HC” cough syrup, with a warning, “Don’t take it

We went to S. Dakota to visit relatives and on the way back, we got so sleepy we decided to stop at some motel outside of Chicago and the lobby was literally full of bags of oranges. “Take a couple!”, the old guy owner said when we checked in, and again when we left in the morning. Those were about the best oranges

There were stores, The Anderson’s, in the Toledo and Columbus, Oh area that used to sell tons of it every year. Sadly, they closed the chain down a few years ago.

I had no idea it was a “British Thing”

My Pit/mystery mix Gus had terrible gas for his entire 14+ year lifespan. My next two I hit the jackpot on, gas wise, King and Molly were nearly gas free until Molly started tooting it up at about 13, sometimes being startled by it to the point of her running into walls in panic.

When I was going to fairs and carnivals, my favorites were:

My 38 pound Beagle ate a 7+ pound ham once. We called the vet and he asked if he seemed to be in distress, and when we said no, he said, “Let him sleep it off!”, he did and had no problems but some very bad gas for about 24 hours after waking up.

Uhh, yeah, he does. Not a good look, but there is a resemblance.

Not even remotely close. The BMW is the winner of the bad grille award.

There are too many cops who shouldn’t even be cops, they’re unstable. You can find video after video on Youtube of them going off the deep end for little or no reason. I know 3 retired cops and they all talk about the guys they worked with being “Nuts”, “A Hothead”, and “Just plain off”. Problem is, between the police

The plain old single is overpriced at $4.19(Last time I stopped at Wendys months ago) and this thing is close to $6? IMHO, the single is worth about $3. for $3.69, give me an Arby’s roast beef sandwich instead.

A friend of mine loves his Journey. He has the money to buy anything he would ever want, but he is thinking about getting a left over one, or was before the prices started getting crazy. He rants and raves about any gas price increase too, which cracks me up as he doesn’t drive all that much, and if gas was $7 a

They just passed the summit of Mount improvement, IMHO, and the crazy prices (even before the latest craziness) and Stop/Start being the two things that pushed them over. The Stop/Start thing needs to be able to be disabled by default on any ICE vehicle. On an electric one, it’s not applicable anyway.

I don’t kno why, but every time I see that mess, it makes me laugh. It’s like, “Let’s see how ugly we can make it!”, and then approved it for production.

I agree, the rest of it seems to at least be, “OK”, but that face!

I would say the ‘94 Ram is the originator of the big grilles, but it’s just out of control at this point. Giant, ugly grilles, weird swoops, goofy tail lights and even stranger head/front lights, it’s like there are drugs in the water supply. I remember seeing drawings people made on mushrooms and LSD in a book years

I did the same thing as a kid, but with the regular Minute-Maid lemonade in the cylinders. Later on, I used to mix it 50/50 with vodka and just get hammered on it.

My grandmother, who was from Nebraska, made two kinds of cornbread. One was slightly sweet with (I think, it was almost 60 years ago last time she made it) Karo corn syrup. Just a little, it was barely sweet. I didn’t care about it, good or bad. The other one, I loved it! It had bacon grease and one time, little bits

Best thing to do with mayo is to throw the damn stuff away. Horrible. Disgusting.

While I don’t understand the love of MTs at all, I understand the love of this POS even less. I drove one of these (Auto, of course) at work for about a year, and there was nothing to love about it at all. It was a penalty box and there was little to say good about it, except it never broke down for me. It did break
