If you stay to the credits of that Reardon short, you’ll see one of the voices for Charlie Brown as done by Rich Moore, future Simpsons director/The Critic producer/Wreck-It Ralph director/etc.

Actually it was worse than Sean Bean, he was only in the first episode. I assume there may some big reveal in the season finale, but that’s all he’s been in so far.

There is so much good story in these games and much of it better story than what is making it onto the screen (which has been hit and miss).

No. Too many established SAG/AFTRA and Actor’s Equity members have appeared on Arrowverse shows for them to be non-union. If they were, union actors would not be allowed to work on them. There are exemptions, usually based on budget and even CW shows are over that cap on a per episode basis.
Part of the problem is that this is a classic example of white-guy-doesn’t-apologize-until-absolutely-forced.
