Hubris is relative.

While I’m sure there are better boatyards, this one is what Bezos picked.  No idea why.

My guess is that the masts are going to be crewless and/or heavily automated, which means you’d need a shipyard’s facilities to mount it.  This is no run of the mill sailboat.

Depression is not something that ‘plays fair’. It knows your darkest thoughts, deepest insecurities, and buried fears. It will exaggerate and lie.  You need to use whatever it takes to beat it.

The interesting thing here is that one of the Dark Metal Dark Knight Dark Whatever universes included a Batman who was almost killed, and had to upload his consciousness into the closest thing available - the Robot TRex in the bat cave.*

Citizen-Kang,

This is probably the best explanation that’s out there and it’s still a bit shit.

As SPOILERS ARE GO due to Whitbrook’s warning at the top, the best narrator - speaker interplay was this towards the end of the book (I’m paraphrasing here so sorry for accuracy):

The Siege Perilous storyline was pre-Doom level Secret Wars. Let’s just say that the weight of backstory was reset a bit thanks to a hidden sandwich, so no I don’t think anybody remembers it. I’d have to rescan a bunch of issues to be sure though.

I’m betting Bizarro is speaking in Kryptonian but backwards.

AND GET OFF MY LAWN.

I get the feeling nobody at DC is talking with anybody else at DC.

Is Mr. Knight a separate personality?

Ugh - what a nice way for Wotc to reward those of us who got Xanathar’s Guide and Tasha’s Cauldron. We either shuck out $120 for a book and screen or we wait until May.

If you loved Joe Fixit, I strongly recommend the entire Immortal Hulk run.

The comic is called DMZ, not DMV.  I can only assume the show will follow the same logic.

That journal entry was about as dark as fanta black.

I went back and re-read issues 5 & 6.

I will need to re-read this issue. I was under the impression that when Scott called Urich that Urich didn’t remember working on the story.
